My wedding is November 28th at OCT (so soon!) and I was wondering if anyone is planning or already has brought in an outside DJ from the area? I want to book DJ Luca who does weddings in the Riviera Maya, but don't want to pay the $500 outside vendor fee, so I was going to book him a room at OCT instead. Will they allow him to come in if he is only a guest for one night? I'm not sure how to ask my wedding coordinator (Areli) about it since we're trying to work around all of the extra fees if possible. DJ Luca said he would like to meet with her and see the place beforehand since he has never done a wedding there before, so I'm trying to figure out how to make it work without spending an arm and a leg.
