  1. Hey all!

     

    Can anyone give me a run down of the DJ services listed on the wedding planner excel sheet?

     

    Is this an outside vendor (therefore, additional charge?)

     

    As well, how far in advance did you send them the request sheet?  Has anyone run into them not playing the songs on that list/concerns of not being able to find them?  I am feeling a little crazy, but really want to take down a thumb drive of all of the songs (there are a TON bc I threw it out to our guests to make requests/we like some possibly hard to find country/east coast songs, that may not be available)...

     

    Any thoughts would be appreciated!

  2. @@sjw015 - we made small welcome bags that we're going to pass out at the airport (I think out of 48, only 6 aren't on the same flight!)...  A thank you card, a week itinerary, a hangover helper baggie (advil, moist wipes, mints, bandaids, elastic band...), and a lei (dollar store, but thought it might be fun since so many haven't been down south before, AND thought I'd ask them to wear them the first night at our meet and greet just so everyone knows who is in the party?)...

     

    @@astawarz we're doing mini beach balls!  Google it, the pictures look super cute...  Had gotten multi color bc they were cheaper, but am kicking myself that I didn't get our wedding colors...  BUT, not enough that I'll order again haha

    Did anyone planned a group excursion off-site as part of their wedding week?  We've been on a few before (catamaran tours), loved them, but have never tried to book for 47 people...  Any recommendations for companies, if you booked before you went or just waited to book in the lobby the first or second day etc???

  5. @@kosrae89 Your pictures are gorgeous!  They just made me SO excited!  I was iffy on the bridal suite, but seeing those/knowing it's close may sway me to book...  

    I would LOVE the long version too, basically as much detail as you'd have!  I'm sure I'll have qs after I digest it all if you don't mind :)  [email protected]  

     


    @@kosrae89 and, not sure if you'll mention it or not...  but how close was the fountain to the beach walking-wise?  I've thought about doing first look pictures before the ceremony now which would get the bulk of our pictures done/allow for more group shots @ the cocktail hour...  but in my head I would have loved those to be at the beach?  But, also would love/need sunset pictures at the beach too...

    It's been a while since I've posted, but we're only a few months out and everything is becoming REAL!  We're May 1st, just under 50 people, fountain for ceremony/pool for reception and are trying to figure out a few things...  

     

    -DJ vs Ipod/speakers/mic?  Pros and cons?  I keep going back and forth about this...  And does anyone know if the DJ considered an outside vendor, so the prices listed in the planner + the 500$?

     

    -Times for the day...  Our wedding is at 4:30pm, cocktail 5:30, reception 7-10 @ the pool...  Has anyone had any advice yet for what time hair appts should start (6 people), and has anyone thought about doing first look pictures ahead of the ceremony just to save a bit of time/focus on group and family pictures during cocktail hour - and if so, what time appts should start?

    Does anyone have a template they can email me for a who's who for guests at the wedding? I wanted to include it with our itinerary / thank you note in our OOT bags, but haven't a clue where to start and can't access the ones saved on previous topics!

     

    I know I'd like to do names / where they are from / relation to us / space for a room # and a small picture if possible... anything would be a big help!

    Forgot these qs -

     

    For any past brides as well, when do you actually meet with the wedding coordinator / see the set up and locations / how long does the meeting usually take? We land on a Tuesday afternoon, get married Friday afternoon. Know they'll tell us eventually, but was curious!

     

    As well, has anyone booked a private catamaran/boat tour? Any recommendations?

  10. Hey everyone!

     

    We're booked for May 1st, 2015 @ Now, fountain ceremony and pool reception!

     

    We have Luisa as our WC and so far has been good, but can take days for responses. Like a lot have said on the threads, they deal with 3 weddings a day so our weddings aren't top priority this many months ahead of time (unfortunately!)

     

    Love connecting with people to try and figure this whole thing out so by all means message :)
