Hello everyone! We will be getting married this July at the Mayan Palace in Puerto Vallarta. We will be staying for a few days at the Mayan Palace but after our wedding we are hoping to go to another resort that is more romantic to celebrate our "honeymoon". I am looking for any ideas on places we can go to/stay at! Thank you!

Hello everyone! I didn't realize the process on deciding on a resort for our wedding would be so frustrating/overwhelming. We started looking into The Mayan Palace in Puerto Vallarta (most of my family lives in Mexico and have time shares here) but they don't have an indoor reception room. We are getting married in July and it is a rainy month. I think the best thing to do is have the wedding ceremony outdoors but the reception indoors. (thoughts?) So, that led me to explore other locations. I have been speaking to a wedding coordinator in the Sheraton, Puerto Vallarta, Villas de Palmar Flamingo in Nuevo Vallarta, and now the Grand Mayan in Nuevo Vallarta. It has been a long and hard process getting all the neccessary information and pricing from these locations. Now, I feel overwhelmed and can not make a decision. (plus there are still some things that are unanswered ) I am looking for anyone that has had a wedding at any of these places or that is planning one. Or, if anyone at all has any information that may help me make a final decision. I really appreciate it!! Sofia

I attempted several times to contact NOW Amber resort for wedding info via email and have received no response! This was weeks ago. Can anyone tell me the best way to contact them or a specific email address I can send message to? Our wedding is scheduled for July 12, 2014. I can't make up my mind on where to have it at =(
