Hi ladies. I was wondering if any has hired outside vendors? Florist, decorator, photog, videog, dj..... I contacted the wedding coordinator and she said they don't allow outside vendors. But for photog and videog we have to pay a fee. Is this true for everyone? I would really like to hire someone outside the resort. Please let me know if you are in the same boat and would advise. Hello, I am new to BDW. My fiance and I are planning on having our wedding at the DRC Resort on November 11, 2014. So I looked at so samples of the photographers and videographers work and was not in love. I want to looked for my own photographer and videographer to bring into the resort. However the wedding reservations person said that there is a supplment fee to do that ($150 for photographers, $300 for videographer). That is $450 that could be spent elsewhere. Is there anyway to get around this fee? Has anyone ever hired outside the resort? Did you pay a fee? Can the fee be waived? Be advise. Thank you
