We just found out this week that the Pisces is rented out already (bummer) so we booked the semi-private room at the Dolce VIta. We are between the Romance Extravaganza and the Unforgettable package for 50 people. Is the cocktail and canapes and open bar after the reception really worth the extra $1,500 plus between the two packages you think?? How are the bars in the Pueblo Principe square? The piano bar, sports bar, etc.? I've tried to find pictures online but couldn't find anything. Thank you so much again for the wonderful review!!! By the way your pictures are priceless!!!! We booked Christopher Lee back in December and just verified that he is doing our wedding this past week with the photography studio and after you said he's leaving, I'm gonna have to send them an e-mail saying I am not paying this vendor's fee because we already have him booked. @Thank you! We have our date reserved but unfortunately the Pisces is already rented for that night. We did go with the semi-private room at the Dolce Vita for 2 hours then we'll just go over to the square for dancing later. Anyone else at the Grand Bahia in July?

I am getting married on July 25, 2014. We are not sure where our reception will be held yet. We thought we had the gazebo (pisces) but apparently it's already booked. I am confused though because some brides on this forum mentioned that they ate dinner at one of the restaurants and then had a DJ and dancing in the gazebo on the beach (the one where the ceremonies are held). Did anyone else do this? Thanks!!

I'm getting married July 25, 2014 at the Gran Bahia too!!! What did you decide on as far as wedding package and place? I'm going through a travel agent and she's the only one who's in contact with the WC as of right now. I emailed the WC a few weeks ago but still have not heard anything! I really need to get invites out but the only thing I know is the time of our wedding. We don't even know about where the reception is being held yet. I'm kinda nervous..... We did book a photographer though...Chris Lee. Are you having a rehearsal dinner or anything or a welcome party? Thanks!!!! Too bad we won't be there at the same time.... -Katie
