  1. We're getting married at Now Sapphire and I found their rates very reasonable. We picked the highest package and it's $3,200 or so, though we'll be going over 25 guests so it's going to get pricier. We also went with an outside photographer and DJ.

I thought rates were reasonable for July. $479/per person for a 3 night stay including ground transfers.

The sapphire is beautiful. You're going to love it (:

    When are you getting married?

  2. Hey ladies! I just spoke to my photographer, he's sending out my photos! Wooo ! I plan on writing a thorough review tomorrow about our wedding at the Jade! It's been a while, but I haven't forgotten about any of you guys!

As far as makeup goes, Erika did mine. It came out great! I was too worried about the cakieness but she did a great job! (:

The bamboo room has a tile floor, so a rental is NOT needed. Only for castaways, the poolside and beach I believe.

I recommend the saxophonist. He was fabulous. We used him during our cocktail hour and he did a great job. Also noticed that he is also the violinist. .. saw him 3 days later at another wedding!

Ok, think that covers most of the last few questions I saw up here. Feel free to message me with any questions, they come straight to my phone. (:

    Xoxo

    Some random pics I got from guests phones (;

  3. Does anyone have any idea how much music is needed for the ceremony?

How long should the playtime be for the pre-ceremony, the procession and the registry signing?

    I had 5 songs total.

    Three Little Birds- Bob Marley

    I'm Yours- Jason MRAZ

    Somewhere Over the Rainbow [bridesmaids]

Here Comes The Sun instrumental [bridal entrance]

Better Together- Jack Johnson [walk as husband/wife]

My husband said that they used their own music before everyone sat, then put on our playlist. They changed the songs as everyone walked down. Was perfect. Not sure if it's always like that because we had a small group and it was just easy, but that's how ours was!

  4. Hello ladies! I can't even believe it-our wedding is in 20 days! Although I've only posted here a few times, I read all of the posts, which have been very helpful-so thank you everyone!

I was also working with Isela, and now am working with Carmen. I haven't worked with her too much, since she first began as our coordinator after I sent in our wedding forms, but so far so good. I started packing everything up yesterday, to be sure it all fits! As of now, I am using 2 carry-ons, one with all the decorations (paper lanterns, table runner, personalized fans, chair bows, bridesmaid and groomsmen flowers, and one for all of the "wedding day stuff" (bridesmaid gifts, my jewelry, etc.) I was able to fit the welcome bags themselves into one of the carry-on bags as well, but will be putting all the items for them into our main suitcases. I swear, worrying about fitting everything has been the most stressful part now! :)

We are using the sound system for 2 hours after the dinner for dancing on the terrace (there are only 17 of us, so I was hoping that would work). I've seen some mention on here recently of the "sound link"-can I ask for more information on that?

    Thanks ladies!

My wedding was a week and a half ago, Carmen was my coordinator! I was originally working with Pilar and Isela, but when we got there we found out that Isela has been sick and Carmen is her replacement. She is absolutely phenomenal! SO sweet and on top of everything! no worries!! Xo
  5. Where did you use the soundlink? At ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception?

Does anyone know if you can use a wireless microphone with this speaker or any other type of Bluetooth speaker?

They provide the sound system for the ceremony, no charge, I used the saxophonist for the cocktail hour (he was phenomenal!) And the sound link for our reception. We had 13 people total, so it was perfect. Sound wasn't all the way up, so for bigger weddings it would still be fine. (:
