Hi!! I am new to the forum!!!! I have a question that maybe some of you can help me figure out the answer. I am getting married in Puerto Rico, but my fiance and I live in NJ and all of our friends are very excited about our wedding but can't come to PR for the wedding. I was thinking about throwing a party at my house and call it a pre-wedding party. I was thinking about asking them to bring a dish and should I also say in the invitation that we are register with Bed, Bath and Beyond? I feel like that be rude and I don't want people to think that all we want is gift. I really just want to celebrate with friends our decision in getting married and that the day is closer then ever. Any help and/or opinion will be appreciate it!!
