Same with us, for every 11th person that booked we got a free ticket up to 4 max..BUT we found out later and are now dealing with this is, if the airline doesn't fly in or out of the city our guest are flying out of they don't count towards your tickets cause they have to book flight and hotel seperate which is insane, it ends up costing our guests almost twice as much. We had 44 people so we got 4 free tickets and then found out that 5 wont count cause Sunwing doesnt fly into that province... So we added a few more people cause we plan on helping out family members who can't afford to go with these tickets but because Sunwing is sold out of rooms for the time were there our agent now has to book flight and hotel seperate which means we might not even get all 4. Might not be the same for you but I just wanted to give you a heads up cause our agent never told us this.

Noo idea were getting married in May so who know, im not paying $3800 regardless lol ill negotiate my butt off if I have too cause this is an all inclusive so why should we pay that much!

That sounds like our idea! We also have 50 people going, that package has a max of 50 and then u have to pay per person per hour afterwards.

I am actually waiting on my planner to get back to me because she sent me a list breaking down all the costs which is per person per hr. which was outrageous, then she sent me the options for JUST the bar which is either $1400 or $3800. If you decide to eat your dinner poolside then you have to pay per person and ur only options that i could see were 5 course menus ranging from $60-75 per person! And then on top of that you have ur bar.. Our plan is to see if there is a bar close by where our guests can just walk to cause its free anyways why should we pay $3800! Its crazy! Unless the bar is far which i wouldnt doubt cause thats how they make there money, then well try to negotiate the bar price cause we dont care about the DJ. There has been ppl say the DJ is included in the package price for the bar which is $3800 plus lighting and set up. Basically its going to cost you regardless just depends on the option you choose.

Ah im sort i am still asking the same questions myself but i thought id try to pass along some of the info ive gotten! Ill send u what i have over email right after work!

She sent me two different attachments, one said that and the other was a break down of how much everythig cost per hr.. I think this includes set up for an ipod an speakers.. But i'm not 100% sure l, ive emailed Maria about it and well see what she says cause her orginal attachment was we paid for EVERYTHING by the hr so it would be nice if that pice also included the DJ!

Im working with a planner through another website which has been a bit more helpful but she has also told me that her response time wont be fast.. She sent me info like 2 weeks after i sent an email and i just sent her another one last week and still nothing. She has told me that they focus on the weddings they have at that time and will contact u once they have time.. The resort doesnt usually contact the bride and groom 6 months before there wedding which i find totally stupid.. If u reay want to find out into email Paloma.. Maria just sent me the newest prices for the poolside reception bar National Bar: Beer, Rum, Vodka, Tequila, Cocktails, Gin, Whisky $2680 USD Special Cocktails: Beer, Piña Colada Cocktail, Margarita Cocktail & Sparkling Wine $1400 This option is for 50 persons maximum , in case there´s more people will have an extra charge. This packages includes 3 hours of open bar, set up, soft lighting, cocktail tables, white tiffany chairs microphone and music DJ. Also looking for any brides getting married the week of May 3-10,2014 to share photographer. We have already booked her and her photos are amazing!! Hi Everyone, My Fiance and I are getting married in May 2014 at the Gran Bahia Tulum and we are planning on bringing our own photographer with us as we have heard not such good things about Arecliffe. We are flying down our own photographer from Canada and wondering if we could share the cost of flying her down with another couple.
