Hi everyone! I am new to these forums and was actually wondering the same thing as sweetjess88. The threads and your posts have been extremely helpful and we want to get married at the GCR. Most of the wedding reviews for this resort are great, but what is really confusing is the general hotel reviews. There are so many mixed reviews and all negative ones are super disappointing! I just don't want to make our guests pay all this money to attend our wedding and then end up hating the food, pool, rooms, etc. If any brides can please give us your opinion about the resort, we would really appreciate it! Hi! I am new to this site and wondering the exact same thing! I read all the posts here which have been super helpful and I'm leaning towards getting married at the Gran Caribe Real. But what's holding me back is reading all the mixed reviews for this hotel. There are some very negative reviews out there! I just don't want to make my guests pay all this money to attend our wedding, only to hate the food, rooms, pool, etc. It would help us a lot if any brides can give us their opinion on the resort itself.
