I wish I was crafty enough to do all the DIY stuff! I'll be lucky if my OOT bags come out looking decent! LOL
Be sure to check out all the templates on the different blogs - they are very useful!

I'll be handing ours out the evening we arrive..my WC booked a private table at the buffett for our group so I'll hand them out then, I'm just going to bring everything in an extra suitcase or two our airline charges 22 dollars per extra suitcase so that's a lot cheaper than shipping everything.
Yeah 22$ isn't so bad! Which airline are you flying?

I am looking for some opinions. I am planning on having a small relaxed intimate dinner after our reception in the islands, but then having our formal reception when we return home. Is it okay to wait to have our first dance until we return to our formal reception? (we weren't planning on dancing in the islands)
-Morgan
I plan on doing formal speeches (although I know people will give them at the DW) and our first dances at the AHR.
We have a very small DW and I have a grand idea for first dances. I think it will be more fun/grand/meaningful to do with a larger audience. I'm really excited about it.
Plus, we will be dancing after dinner at the DW but it will be at the disco and not at all private.

Thanks
No problem!!

Hey there - congrats!
If there is anything specific you want to know where to find the best deal - I can be very helpful!!
I haven't looked for the Spanish books but I do know some Brides found them at Target (it was a while ago so I'm not sure if they still have them)
If I see any I will let you know!

Hello everyone. I am in desperate need of some wedding advice, and I hope the experts on this forum would be able to assist me.
But first, let me tell you all my story (I'll be quick):
My name is Brandon, I'm 26 and currently going through my first year of dental school in the great state of Georgia. I've been dating the same wonderful gal, Lindsey, for 6 years now and I proposed to her in late spring of 2013. We picked up all of our belongings (including our 3 dogs, all Chihuahuas) and moved away from both of our families so that I can go through 4 grueling years of dental school. My fiance and I have been really stressing about what kind of wedding we are going to have, since money is an issue for us. My bride-to-be has already purchased a dress (from what I hear, she looks beautiful in it) but we are still at a loss as to how we will actually get married. We will be paying for the entire thing on our own, and after several weeks of trying to find the right venue, the right guest list, photographer etc, we decided to just travel somewhere and get married/mini-honeymoon there. We have the dates figured out already, which will be very close to May 21 - May 28. I have my one and only summer break this summer which is only 5 weeks long. This will be our only shot to enjoy our wedding/first week as a couple.
Now that you all know a bit about me, i'll give you guys a few details:
It would be best if we could get married inside the U.S. (passports seem like an unncessary expense; that money could be better spent elsewhere)
We are both hoping to have some great photos taken, so we were hoping a beach type wedding/location would be possible
The plane tickets will be provided by my parents (my father travels a lot and has graciously offered to redeem some of his miles for our tickets)
I'd say that we have about $2000 to spend for the whole shebang. That's what goal we have set for ourselves, and will try to stick to it.
Any helpful advice you guys have would be greatly appreciated. If there's any other additional information that is needed, I'll be happy to provide it.
Hello Brandon! Congrats! It is wonderful to see a groom so involved!
A good place to start is by making a couple of list. "Wants" & "Must Haves" Once you know what you and your FIs priorities are for your perfect wedding you can work on getting the details to work.

Very pretty. How much are you asking for it?
-
Hi and Welcome . How is all your planning going so far?
-
I started as an early planner and then stalled with the planning for the past year. Now it's 3 months before my wedding and I'm panicking a little!
Oh no!! What do you have left to do?
-
I think we'll have a BBQ for people at our house prior to going. We'll give out the bags then and it will be like a meet and greet for people who don't know each other.
That is a cute idea!

Hello - I'm interested in the LOVE charms and Blue clutch. I live in the US 02476 - Could you tell me how much shipping would be?
-
@@RaynDrop I saw something similar on their website but couldnt find ml or prices so I will probably just have to take a trip there, thanks!
Hm I should have thought to remember the price for you! I think they probably $20 - 25 -- with a coupon thats not bad!
-
This dress is Gorg! How much are you asking for it?
-
I just saw jars that look this at Michaels - in the wedding section - I didn't look close enough to see how many ml they are but they weren't very big.
-
ohh and the price is good too!! Thanks
-
Do you still have the parasol? If so can you tell me how much shipping is to 02476 - Thanks
-
Hello - I am also wondering if you have any of these left? Thanks
-
I know you said you don't have anymore bags but I'm wondering if you can tell me where you got them from?
Thanks

Hi All! We are heading to St Thomas on May 3-11 & staying at the Marriott. Our ceremony will take place on St John on Trunk Bay, while our reception dinner will take place back in St Thomas. The logistics of this completely concerned me.
I am just getting the major planning things accomplished right now. We just chose to have our dinner after the ceremony at Havana Blue in St Thomas. The great part is they have their own wedding planner through the restaurant.
We are using one planner for our ceremony and one for our dinner. Getting very excited!
Ohhh that all sounds amazing!!!
-
where did you buy it in the first place?
I got it at bed bath and beyond ... Target also sells it.
-
Hi I am interested in the sea glass.. do you have pics? And shipping to 02476... Also do you have pics of the straws? Thanks
-
I should be able to hand deliver most of the bags, might either UPS the others or have them placed in their rooms.
Be sure to ask your resort how much they charge to do this for you. I have heard a lot charge $3 - 5 per room.
Any other 2014 brides here getting an early start?
in Newbies!!

I love your date! I was originally going to have 10.12.14 (I have this thing with odd numbers LOL) but it didn't work out!
Where are you planning on having your wedding?
