Now that is definitely true, although all it takes is taking the picture and using wifi to put it online after the ceremony (I assume most resorts have wifi)

Maybe not wait until professional photos get back, but more so control what is shared on your day. It's more or less that you're paying all this money to have a professional photographer and you have your friends and family taking not so flattering untouched photos of you on your day. Can I ask why? Professional photos take so long, I'm expecting the guest photos to tide me over until I get the real ones lol.

I think everybody coming has traveled more than I have lol. And I'm pretty sure I'll be getting a TA soon to help everybody book anything.
 

That is what I'm worried about, although we will be renting a car for us, and I suspect most people will be doing their own excursions separate from us (we'll be doing things geared to our kids ages, not adults lol)

I think it's a bit different because we aren't going somewhere all inclusive, so while we want to split housing costs like this (a week will cost what two nights would at a hotel,) the actual vacation planning will be up to each individual (although we'll provide a list of nearby attractions/points of interest and our plans for anybody who wants to come along with us.)

I've thought about it. I think I might do an unplugged ceremony.  I would be pretty upset if the photographer I'm paying was unable to get some of the most important images, while somebody grabbed an iphone pic instead, and quite honestly I don't want to be distracted at the alter by a lot of people getting up and down and moving around during the ceremony.

Yeah the magnet itself is the save the date. I did it through vistaprint! one half is a picture of us and the other side there is a starfish near the top, and the writing "Save the Date" big. And then under that our names and the date (January 2015) and destination (somewhere sunny and warm) and at the very bottom I put *formal invititation to follow* they turned out really really nice! Once I get them, which will hopefully be next week, I will try to take a picture and post it! The lame part is the quantities go up in twns until 50 and then it jumps to 100. We only really need like 60, but when you factor in shipping for doing two orders, it was cheaper to just get 100... lol it will be $90 plus $20 for 3 day express shipping.

Thank you The only thing I've found so far is airbrushed makeup. But that would be expensive, so I'll only go that route if I can't find a good DIY route.
