Hi all! I'm a newbie here, and even though I'm not the traditional "destination" wedding type, I already feel like reading some of these threads here has helped soooo much! My name is Skye, and I'm getting married June 2014 outside of Traverse City, MI. It's approximately 4.5 hours from where I and most of my family live in metro-Detroit, and I've already gotten grief from family that I'm getting married "so far away", so just humor me and agree that I'm having a destination wedding too
