    hello, i have been to the resort before and I am having my wedding there in May. Barcelona is located right near the beach and the pier. I am having my reception there. Hope this helps! -Megan

    Hi everyone, I have a wedding booked for excellence riveria cancun on 5/25/13. I have been to this resort about 3 years ago and fell in love when I was there. It is absolutely beautiful. Anyone have any thoughts on footwear for the ceremony in the sand? I am worried about hemming my dress and that it will look to long for the ceremony if I take my heels off. I will def be wearing heels for the reception. I have thought about wedges too. Hope everyones planning is going well! -Megan

    hi everyone, I just found this blog and it is so helpful! My wedding is booked for 5/25/13 at excellence riveria cancun. I vacationed there 3 years ago and feel in love with it when I was there. Does anyone have any thoughts on footwear for the ceremony in the sand?? I am worried about not wearing shoes to the ceremony and having issues with the length of my dress for the reception, where I will be wearing some sort of heel.
