I just wanted to inform everyone that after coming back from adventura spa, I would not recommend going for a romantic getaway there. I am looking for a destination for my wedding, and liked the idea of doing it at a spa. This place is not the spa i was looking for! The words jersey shore were muttered about the guests there, and everything seems to have changed (my first time, but i did speak to the members). The food was hit or miss, the crowd and noise were unforgivable, and the spa was just OK. One night, i even needed to make a complaint about the noise blaring outside my room at 11pm (like a club!). I will not deny, the beach and water is beautiful, and the whole resort is quite pretty (don't get me wrong, I have seen much nicer). However, the size is huge and you cannot have a nice quiet time there. I would say definitely not for a honeymoon, and wedding only if you do not want any privacy. I will never go back. It must have been the purchase to become a hard rock, but this place is no longer a 5 star. I would say 3.5 overall, tops. If anyone knows of a beautiful quiet oasis that is ideal for either weddings or honeymoons, I would love to hear about it. Thank you!
