We're going to Cozumela and Isla Mujeres for a week after the wedding.

I ended up calling the resort to get a response. Luckily, the wedding supervisor picked up and was able to help me. Still no email from Lorena. If it's really urgent like changing a location, I'd recommend just calling them.

Hi Lori, Do you think I could get away with no music for the dinner on the beach since we're so close to the ocean? I'm having the mirachi band play the first 45 min of the dinner than no music planned afterwards. My thoughts were that the ocean waves would be so loud the music wouldn't be that audible. What do you think?

Hi, my coordinator is Lorena as well. I've been emailing her the past three weeks and I haven't received a single response from her either. I might end up emailing the other coordinator to follow up. Not replying for 3 weeks is pretty ridiculous.

Hi, I want to change my reception from the pool terrace to the beach as well! I haven't heard back from Lorena for over a week now and I don't know if I can change it at this point since my wedding is less than a month away. Were there other receptions on the beach at the same time as yours? We don't plan to get a dance floor - do you think I will need to get extra lighting? Was it cold on the beach in the evening? Thanks! Betty

Hi Kelly, Eva no longer works there. My coordinator is Lorena. Maybe she can help direct you. [email protected] They don't respond quickly at all. So don't be surprised if you don't hear back for a week or longer. Maybe try calling the resort instead.

They've changed the rules. Apparently, you have to have 60 people or something like that.

Hi! Did you have trouble convincing Dreams to allow you to use Juan Navarro? I thought they didn't allow outside vendors. Do you have to pay an outside vendor for Juan? Thanks! Betty

Hi Elsa, The wedding guide says gazebo decor/ 2 flower corsages from $280. Probably depends on the type of flowers. Best to add your WC directly. Betty

I haven't paid for my photographer's stay at the resort yet. Expedia usually has the best deals. Right now, it's $316 per night for two people (photographer + his assistant). My photographer has opted to not charge me the 11% tax because I will be paying for his accomodations for the night. Maybe your photography will do that same...

Hi Elsa, You can bring in your outside photographer by booking him/her a night at the resort so they're coming in as a guest to your wedding. That's what I'm doing. Betty
