I'm not sure on how easy it is to get maracas down in Mexico, but I know there were posts about it a lot of pages back. I have contacted and am most likely using maracasmexico.com. She responds very quickly and the maracas are shipped to the resort. Hope that helps! Best, Emily

Hi Amber, I can't remember where I saw it but somewhere in info sent by Anel / budget sheet or on the wedding booklet you can download from resort website, it said they now offered a photo booth. You may want to check with Anel or look online just in case I am mistaken.

Hi Dina, It's $350 an hour through the resort and you do have rent speaker equipment if use an ipod. If you go to the resort website and upload wedding brochure all the prices/extras are in there and wedding coordinator should email you stuff. We are going with discomovil (they have reviews on the blog under DJs). It's still cheaper to pay vender fee and use outside DJ than go with resorts. However we did get under his 2012 prices, so may have raised them for 2013. Hope that helps. Best, Emily

Hi, I'm getting married there next June and would love to see any pictures you may have. I'm still debating on the cocktail hour on the beach or on the terrace, what did you do? My email is [email protected]. Did you happen to have a rehearsal dinner? I've emailed the coordinator several times about this, but still haven't heard back in 2 months. I'm also looking for a photographer, as that is probably the most important part of the wedding for me. I saw you used Nunez, would you recommend him/does he take creative pictures? Hello Sapphire Brides! I am new to the forum, so any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated. I was wondering if anyone out there was having a rehearsal dinner/has had one and if so what information you could share. I was hoping to have something casual on the beach, like a buffet or appetizers. I have emailed Anel, but have yet to hear back. My wedding is booked for June 10. Thanks!
