  1. I was wondering, did anyone book audio equipment for their dinner for speeches and to have music during the meal? Also, is anyone planning a grand entrance at the restaurant that would take place before people eat dinner? The bridal party was interested in doing something like this Thanks!

  3. Another question- we're having our reception at Dolce Vita. I'm putting together my seating plan right now and I was wondering, are the tables typically set up for 8 people? Also have brides actually bothered to give wedding coordinators a formal sitting plan to arrange? Ie. so they can put table numbers in appropriate places etc.?

  5. Hi Ladies! So we've booked our dinner at the Dolce la Vita restaurant and now I'm wishing that we went with the BBQ dinner by the pool. It seems a lot easier to not have to move the guests around all night. Also, that way, those who don't want to dance can sit at the tables and chairs that are already laid out for dinner. Or are their tables and chairs out their anyway for just the dancing portion? For those who did the poolside dinner, did you find that it was worth the extra cost? I think it's around $3000 if memory serves...
  6. Yep! We're getting married on May 18th on the Akumal beach and then we're having our dinner at Dolce Vita and then off to our poolside reception!

  12. Hey Everyone! I'm in the midst of planning a destination for May 2013. I've been to both Tulum and Akumal in the Bahia Principe and we had a great time. I've also read really great things about Now Sapphire. I really want my guests to have a really good time. Any advice on why one of these resorts might be better than the other? Thanks!!
