  2. Hi!!! No I just wanted the budget for my guests to be around $1,000 a person to stay at the resort. Thank you for your response - any information is greatly appreciated!!!
  3. Hi Everyone!! I am newly engaged and have begun the process of wedding planning. I always knew I wanted a destination wedding - something simple yet fun with my close family and friends. I love Mexico so would love to have it there. Just got back this past week for a surprise engagement trip that my fiance planned. Last year we stood at Secrets Silversands which I loved! This year we stood at the Royal Hideaway.. Another beautiful spot. Both are adult-only and that will not work for our wedding.. I have immediate family that wants to be there and we need a family friendly resort. Which I would want anyway. I would like the resort to be fun and have different activities during the day to keep everyone entertained. As well as shows every night. I was looking into the RIU Palace or the Iberostar Tucan. I wanted some feedback if possible!! I'm also looking into having just a symbolic wedding as I would make it official out here in New York prior to going to Mexico! Any feedback is greatly appreciated - also I would love to make it as inexpensive for my guests as possible. $1,000 is the limit! Thanks!!!
  4. Hi all!! I'm recently engaged and have begun my search with having a destination wedding in Mexico. I love it there. I went last year to Secrets Silversands and this year the day after I got engaged my fiance surprised me with a trip to Royal Hideaway. They are both beautiful resorts but for me I need a family resort because we have a few kids in our immediate family that will be attending. I have begun my process with a few hotel ideas and wanted some feedback from any brides out there. I'm either thinking of the RIU Palace or Iberostar Tucan. I am looking for a place that has daily activities to keep everyone entertained as well. I'm looking to have a symbolic ceremony sometime in either April or May of 2013. I will get legally married here in New York right before we leave. I would like a reasonable priced resort - anything more than $1,000 per person to travel is out of the question. Need some assistance with this new endeavor!!! Thank you all!!!
