  1. They have just overhauled their suites, but I am not sure about the chapel. I went in a few years ago, it's pretty classic bridal colors and a classy vibe. Nothing super special though. I know the suites previously were a popular option for brides hosting small cocktail receptions or afterparties for 10-40 people because some of their rooms have outdoor patios that overlook the Strip. Depends how many people you expect to attend and how intimate you want it to be. A room ceremony is always an option, and don't forget about MGM Signature Suites or SkyLofts, if you have a big budget!
  2. There are a ton of restaurants in that area, not just in Cosmo. CityCenter has a ton inside ARIA, Mandarin Oriental and Crystals, the mall. Then there are the hotels nearby... What kind of food or mood do you want and how many people? I'd start there, then break it down into budget. I did a pre-wedding meet and greet at Todd English PUB and it went really well, but it's not exactly intimate or quiet. I did my actual reception at Border Grill at Mandalay and then did an afterparty in a suite catered with snacks and cake from Whole Foods and with a bartender from Culinary Pros Las Vegas, and they were great. So many options!!!
  3. I agree - there is so much information online! If you can afford it, I would totally recommend a planning trip. It will give you a better feel for the chapels in person, and your different options. It's totally overwhelming because you literally can have any kind of wedding you want in Vegas. A small sweet elopement, a big crazy banquet, cocktail party, drive thru wedding... A lot of chapels will give you a deal on your room if you book through them. Think about the location you want your chapel to be in, then pick colors or theme. Some are more classic (Imperial Palace, shockingly, has a beautiful new chapel) and some are more themed - tropical, French, Roman are all options. Then you can go indoors or outdoors... I don't think I helped, did I? Good luck!
