They look great...i imagine your guests loved them!

After reading this thread I think I am going to do a magnet for one of my sheets in my boarding pass invites.
Not sure if you still come online here but was wondering if you used sticker labels for the magnets or if you used double sided tape to attach printed paper??
Thanks for posting the details about this and they looked great!
-
those look amazing! Would love it if you could post the template that you used for the ticket holders.
also Brads are little clips that you can put through a hole and they hold the papers together. If you google it they have some really cute ones!

Wow these are amazing!!! Any chance you might post the templates that you used?
Thanks again for posting!

I have been wondering about veils ever since we got engaged.....I think it will really come down to trying one on with the dress and seeing how it looks!

wow I love all your ideas for your photo booth. And what a great find that frame was....Interested to hear how you get it there...and if you'll leave it there or ship it back.

So glad I found this thread....I am going to try on dresses for the first time on Saturday and was a bit nervous about what to wear. The lady at the bridal shop said that a lot of dresses have built in bras but you can bring a strapless too. I hope the one I really like has a built in bra because it has a keyhole back and I can think of where the strap would go.

BUT....I was thinking that the man who catches it wouldn't care much about a girly flower garter and that my fiance would be totally shocked and surprised with a sports garter. He would never even think that they made NHL garters and he will be so surprised! So I ended up ordering a Canuck's garter set to surprise him!
Etsy, narfer99 Both garters with $24+5.00 shipping

Saw this and thought immediately she must be from Vancouver!! we are in Victoria but FI is a Pittsburgh Penguins fan so I am thinking about getting a Pittsburgh one...as well as some cuff links for FI that have his team on them.

That is so true it is what you and them think not anyone else....also if someone was to bring you down by mentioning that on your big day..well you should probably throw them in the ocean or something!!

I just checked these out and they look great!
i think I am going to get some for my BM's and I.

However, I have also been in your position and wound up with a different dress than I originally wanted as well. As principessa said, it all comes down to what you want and what makes you happy. If that dress is truly what you want, then you need to go with your heart. However, from an outside opinion, the dress you have now is breathtaking and looks amazing on you.
I agree that it looks less princess and more goddess! But again of course what makes you happy is the right choice. I think the first dress makes your waist look absolutely tiny...which is never a bad thing right!

Good thinking about telling them about the group rates. We decided to book our cruise seperately rather than as a group because we wont likely have enough people to make it worthwhile for the groups.
Also it is a lot more of a hassle when you book the cruise as a group as opposed to individually because the bride ends up doing a lot of the middle work!

Hi Ladies,
I am really interested in joining this group so that we can all do this together. I will measure and weigh tonight and post it once I get home!
Talk soon Ladies!

Hey Ladies,
I posted in the other thread as well but I was totally into keeping up with you guys and tracking our progress!!
I am going to try and do a run/workout tonight...We'll see how it goes!

Hmm interesting. My sister uses hair extensions all the time (the clip in ones) but I don't think they are real hair because she cant really style them. Do you guys ever find that anyone ever spots the clips at all?
-
Well I am going to check it out. 20 minutes sounds perfect to me!

Thanks for posting this. As soon as I get to 150 posts I will open this and see what it is all about and hopefully be able to make some changes in my diet that will help me lose weight for my November 2013 wedding!

Hi Ladies,
Thanks so much for posting this thread here. My wedding is in November of 2013 and I realised that i need to really get going on my healthy lifestyle changes. My DD is 3.5 now and I had pretty much lost all my baby weight but I went through some stressful job stuff at the beginning of this year and gained a bit back....so now that I have started a new job that I love and have actually set a wedding date it is time to get healthy.
This is two fold because my FI and I really do enjoy eating out but it isn't good for our waistlines or our pocketbooks so we are making a conscious effort not to eat out as much....It isn't easy at all and I will be the first one to say that it doesn't help that I am not the best cook in the world(mostly I think it is because I don't have great organization in the kitchen so I am always missing ingredients and making a mess)
So anyways I am looking to lose about 25lbs before the wedding and I should be able to do that....IF I make the right lifestyle choices and really get my ass in gear when it comes to eating healthier.
Anyways really excited to have some other brides that are looking to do the same thing!
Good Luck Ladies and Happy Planning!

I hear you on this one as well. I know that for me I made a point not to call my FI anything but my BF until we were actually engaged....and when he would refer to me as his wife I would call him on it....Even though we have been living together for 5 years and have a 3.5 year old DD I still wasn't ok with it unless it was real.
Now that we are engaged officially and to be married I find I don't really like the term Fiance so I am playing around with other ones but it doesn't really come up that much. I usually just say his name!
-
I am glad i found this thread and read some other brides experiences with people not booking right away. I am already expecting our numbers to be quite low since we've chosen something that is quite expensive to do....however I would still appreciate a response from everyone if they cant make it...I know that probably wont happen but a bride can wish right?
-
Oh I also just remembered something that was great for me to know....you can subscribe to threads...and if you do it the site only option you don't get all the emails about everytime someone posts.
This is a great way to keep everything organized until you have enough posts to download templates. Also I like saving the planing threads of brides to get some FAB ideas!
DIY Wedding Dress Hanger Tutorial

Well i was working on these last night and was wondering if you had any suggestions for the letter "d". I too was using etsy as examples and am super impressed with how they manage to get the letters so nice. It's obviously practice makes perfect so I am going to stick with it, but was having trouble with the 'd' also will be looking for a T soon but we'll get there one day....luckily I found 5 yds of 12 gauge wire in red at michaels for under $2. It's not really the color I want but I am practicing with it for when I finally do it in silver.
Thanks again for the tutorial.
