  1. Hey girls. I'm 105 days away! Time is flying. Feel like a l have a lot under control. Question.. has anyone sent things to Claudia or Cecilia? I was thinking about shipping my centerpiece decor, signs, and guest favors but I have never shipped anything out of the country and am a little weary. If you have, where did you ship through, Fed Ex, UPS, etc??? Please let me know if you can be of any help.
  2. Is Juan the photographer that is included in the Dreams package?? I was actually considering going to an external vendor for pics, but if Juan comes recommended than I might save the $$. Ps. When I spoke to Cecilia she said that the centerpieces could incorporate our own mix of things.. even though you picked the fishbowl and starfishes, you could have a different spin on it and add your colors, theme, etc. Just a thought.
  3. We picked the package that was the most expensive... and yes, if you tell her your vision, and if it includes flowers, vases, candles, etc.... she can totally do it. So, I would just email her and see what she has that could possibly help you bring less.
  4. Hi Brides! Just came back from our site visit. Had a meeting with Cecilia (who I absolutely love, and is very efficient). A couple of you had questions about bringing your own centerpieces. I asked Cecilia about this and she seems to be ok with taking any inspiration we give her and designing it on her own. I felt comfortable telling her my colors, vision, etc. She jotted everything down and seemed confident. I'm thinking that since these are included in our package, why not just trust her, instead of paying the extra to buy and send it all. Seems this is the easier approach. After being there, it definitely seems more real. Really enjoyed the resort, our only complaint was that the pool was a bit small and seemed unclean. The location is priceless though. Very romantic! If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.
  5. Im also confused on this. We are going for an onsite visit the end of this month and I'm going to inquire about the centerpieces. I've always envisioned designing my own, but it seems like an added headache having to send or carry this extra decor to Mexico. I will let you know what she says when I speak to her in person.
  6. Thank you so much! So exciting we will have the same Anniversary. Do you have any pictures?? If you do decide to come next May, we will definitely have to get together!
  7. Getting married May 11, 2013 in the gazebo, reception on the beach. For everyone that doesnt know this, because I didn't... the light up dancefloor is extra and is not included in the package. I guess I just assumed with all the pictures that it was part of the beach experience. The floor was quoted for $700.00. If you do not choose the fancy lighting.. they do offer a regular wooden one. We opted to spend the extra money since it looks like it provides such a unique ambiance. Just an FYI for all the brides!
  8. Thought that these brides can have our own thread so we can swap ideas, get questions answered, and hopefully be able to trade decor, and other items. I am getting married there on May 11. Anyone else getting married there?? Karen
  9. I am getting married at the Dreams Cancun on May 11, 2013. Everything is all booked and I couldn't be happier. I used Kelly Re through Apple Vacations [email protected] She basically set everything up for me and got a really great rate. She is also quickly responds to any questions, stupid or not, that there might be. She even emailed Cecilia and Claudia to make sure that they got back to me with our contract, which seemed to take forever. Love her and highly recommend!
