  1. Hi Safety, The resort is beautiful and some water activities are included. We were there last July and were able to snorkel. Kayaks were available and you could book more water activities (parasailing, jet skiing, fishing, etc) on the beach. The swimming beach was the best I've been to, very fine sand, no rocks and clear water. There was even a school of angel fish that we fed one morning. If you walked the length of the beach, which was very large and private, it became rockier. There was a pier with man made fish houses around it that we snorkeled over which was amazing. The nightly entertainment was decent, they had different shows each night. We really liked the Michael Jackson show and the fire show. Around 10 each night they had a dj and dancing in the main square area by the lobby. The only real drawback to the resort is that the beach closes every night at 6:00 pm during turtle nesting season (may - nov). Also, the pools close at around the same time. The valentin has a Facebook page with more info and reviews. Good luck choosing
  2. Hi Everyone! I too, am a June 2013 bride and we are getting married at the Valentin Imperial Maya. I've started making my STDs and talking to the WC at the resort. Are all of you getting TAs? We thought about it but our families are always looking for a deal so we thought it might be better to have them book themselves. Any thoughts? Thanks!
  3. Hi everyone! I'm recently engaged and planning our wedding for June 2013 at the Valentin. We vacationed there last July with three other couples and loved the resort! Does anyone have any advice for reception locations? We are expecting 20-30 people. Thanks!
