Argghh got more questions now. The translation company have asked if the translation needs to be certified by a spanish speaking solicitor? if my birth certificate and the spanish translation both need legalising and what type of legalisation i require (apostille,notarisation e.t.c) I have asked my WC but she can take a while coming back to me so help would be appreciated. Thanks very much, yeah im getting married at the gran bahia principe at the gazebo. Its just been a nightmare trying to find out what documents were required a sthe translation company and thomas cook both advised birth certificates were required for both me and the groom but the wc has advised different and i didnt want to get to mexico and not have the correct documents and i did not want to translate both as its a extra £150.00. It appears the birth certificate translating is just required for my self though. thanks for your help.

It's a legal ceremony and my parent are not married and I have my mothers surname if that makes a difference. Thanks x

Hi I get married 24th April 2013 at the gazebo! I'm needing some help with what documents are required for the wedding as I'm getting mixed info at the moment. Me and my fiancée and both from the uk and not adopted, my wedding co ordinate has said the birth certificate translating a Spanish and apostilled is only required for the bride yet thomas cook and the translation company have said its required for both bride and groom. Can anybody confirm please? thanks

Hi, I get married at the tulum gazebo 24th April 2013 and I would really appreciate your help on what documents are required for the wedding. Me and my fiancee are both from uk and have not been adopted, my wedding coordinator is stating only my birth certificate needs to be certfied and translated yet the translation company is sayinh its required for both the bride and groom and also thomas cook states this too. It would be much cheaper if only its required for the one so I dot want to get both certificates translated for the sake of it. Please could somebody clarify. Thanks
