  1. I'm so sorry to hear about your grandparents! I hope everything goes well for you Hun. I'll work out how to post some photos when I get back I cannot believe how quickly time has flown either. I leave for Manchester today and fly early tomorrow......cases packed and ready.....just hope I have remembered everything. Feel sick with excitement and nerves lol. Good luck with everything!! Chat soon xx
  2. Hi Kelly, you in the UK? If so, send me a message and I will let you know what you need to do. [email protected]. I really need to change my e-mail address! Lol xx
  3. Hello there. Not been on here for quite a while, but just caught up on the posts. You will have to send me a friend request on FB. There seems to be quite a few brides flying out on the 12th......we could have a huge pre wedding party on the plane ha ha I've opted for a meal on the beach with the tikki torches.....I didn't realise you could eat in the gazebo! It sounds like a nice idea! I'm getting extremely nervous now. My HTB hasn't been involved in much of the planning as I wanted it all to be a bit of a surprise, so I just hope he likes it. We get married on sat 21 at 5pm. Are you having bridesmaids? X Soccer1615........ How AMAZING! You have done a fantastic job, your guests will LOVE them. Hope everyone's planning is going well. I cannot believe how quickly time has passed.......only a few days until I head down to Manchester! X
  4. There are only 8 of us so those options are no good. I guess the beach would be good though, especially with the tikki torches It's a shame it's so expensive fir the SSG deck! Are you plans going ok?
  5. Hi Taz How exciting is it to have your wedding booked?! Did you get a good price from HDC? I haven't booked a photographer but am wondering whether or not I should after seeing Chanelos photos!! Clare-Marie
  6. hi and welcome to the forum. I have tried to get in touch with Jenny this week too. I think she must be really busy as normally she replies quite quickly! I am waiting for some answers about buffet options so will let you know when I get a reply!
  7. Thank you so much for your reply! We are looking to gave our reception in the SSG so it's useful to know that it is close to the gazebo! I will let you know about the lanterns......thank you. I hope you have a fantastic Irish wedding / honeymoon!! Xx
  8. Chanelo.........you look amazing!! I'm so pleased to hear how wonderful your day was. Thank you for all the detail n your update. Now for a bombardment of questions: Did you take your own lanterns for the gazebo or did Dreams supply them? I get married on 21 April.....not...long. Would you recommend a 4.30pm ceremony? Your photos look amazing. Do HDC do any smaller packages? Did you hav the cocktail hour? And was it part o th silver package? I'm getting so excited and your photos actually brought a tear!! I never realised I was so soft lol
  9. @amurka when do you head off to Dreams fir your wedding? I hope you ave an amazing time and will post to let us know how you got on!! X
  10. Thank you! I'm composing a list of questions for Jenny. There are only 8 of us so it's just a small, quiet affair. I was hoping we could book a table at the seaside grill but request the table to be set up with linen to make it actually look like a wedding reception! I'm also going to ask about the cocktail hour as I'm not sure if we can have that. It's not part of the free package either, so am sure it will attract a relatively heavy cost. I cannot believe it is only 7 weeks today until we tie the knot!! How exciting.....
  11. Hello all brides I soooo wish I had found this forum sooner than today!! My (provisional) date is April 21st 2012.....only a few weeks away! We fly from Manchester on 12th April.......I'm so excited. We have a small guest party of 6 and then a reception at home for 200 when we get back. I've spent 4 hours tonight readin through posts and taking notes. I love all the information I now have......but am also in a panic as there are so man things I haven't even considered!! What is an OOT bag??? I have a questionnaire from Jenny to advise required time for ceremony, type of flowers for bouquet etc (we have he free package). I didn't even know I had a choice of flowers! LOL. I have no idea what time would be best for the ceremony, where to have a reception meal (we are not keen on the silver / gold package options), have no idea what free decorations we get for the garden gazebo.....if I can even get married there.... What is a sand ceremony??? Please HELP!!! Bride to be in distress with 8lb to lose before my final dress fitting in 9 days ha ha
