  1. I don't think they would because they only do one wedding per cruise and if there is another bridal party on the ship then they would take priority. But, you can see if the events department would be able to arrange a private event for you and your guests. That sounds so nice getting married shoreside. We were originally planning on a May wedding in Bermuda. We had the place booked, the wedding planner scheduled and we were working on the menu with the venue. Then.....the worst news EVER, we were told that Carnival will not be going to Bermuda in 2012. I thought I was going to die! So our May wedding was cancelled and we decided to book it thru Carnival on July 1st with a Caribbean destination. Don't get me wrong, we love the Caribbean, we've been there so many times already. We just wish we could have done it in Bermuda. We had it planned that our wedding day in Bermuda would have been exactly 10 years to the day that we were first there. So my plan is to go back there for our 1 year wedding anniversary.
  2. Hi Ladies, We are getting married on the Miracle in the Port of NY on July 1st. It's close to home so we will be able to have everyone that we want attend the wedding. Regarding the STD's, send them out ASAP. I wouldn't wait on them because if you have someone on the fence about booking they need to book at least 6 months out in order to get the early saver rate. Also, if you have people flying in, it will allow them to book their flights early. We sent our's out as soon as we booked the wedding in October. About the OOT's. I've been looking too and it really all depends on the look that you want to go for. I like the Vistaprint bags because you can personalize them. I'm also going to do a magnet for each cabin door to identify "my group". I designed a great door magnet on vistaprint. I'm planning on doing custom waterbottles from discountmugs.com, beach towels that I found on clearance on kmart.com for $2.17 each, luggage tags and a custom printed lanyard along with all of the regular contents of an OOT bag.

Then we sent out save the date's with our wedding website that has all of the information about booking. We also sent out a full packet in the mail to everyone. Our packet included an intro letter, a complete print out of pricing for every catagory and what they need to do if they are cruising and if they will just be attending. It definitely saved me a lot of time and stress. I've already had people book and then cancel as well as 4 people who still have to book. What's your wedding date and ship? We're getting married on the Miracle in NYC on July 1st (this year)
