  1. I'm such a procrastinator!!! We're getting married next Sunday and we're leaving in 2 days and I need to get some opinions on tipping!!!! Do I tip the DJ, Photographer, and WC? Is there anyone else involved with the wedding that needs to be tipped? The tip is included for our reception so I'm not worried about that, it's mostly the DJ and WC I need to know about. Help! it's all starting to feel real!
  2. Has anyone heard any feedback for shipping things to the resort? My WC does not recommend it (no surprise there) but she gave me the address if I wanted to ship anything. My wedding is on a Sunday and we will be arriving on Wednesday so we were thinking of shipping the favors and try to have them delivered on Thursday. I'm a little nervous about it. Does anyone know/heard if anyone in the past has done this????
  3. My WC is Erika. I had asked her for an estimated setup fee for the sheers, chair bows, and hanging lanterns to see if it would be feasable to bring our own. She gave them to me individually. Sheers - $100, bows - $5/chair, lanterns - $75. This was just an estimate so who knows what the price will actually be. I decided to only bring the lanterns and get the bows and sheers through Lomas. Less I have to worry about transporting.

  5. My WC said the setup fee for the sheers on the Gazebo would be $100. You can ask what the setup price would be, who knows, they may give you another price, I wouldn't be surprised. The set up fees for items you bring can be more expensive then if you get them through Lomas so I recommend finding out setup fees before you purchase your own decorations. I asked how much it would be if we brought our own chair bows but had them put on the chairs. She quotes $5/per chair just to tie the bow on the chair!!! that's more than if you got the bows from Lomas!!! Needless to say I'm just going with the bows from Lomas, less for me to pack and worry about. Hopefully this helped a little. Jana
  6. So this is my first post. I'm getting married at AS on November 11, 2012 and I'm starting to decide on all my details. I need some opinions about using Lomas for flowers, decorations, cake, and DJ. I don't want to pay the outside vendor fee unless it's totally worth it. I've been trying to read through some of these post but there are so many!!!! I looked at the Fresa website and loved what they had but as far as decorations and cake options. Does anyone know if I would use Fresa for flowers, decorations, cake, and photography if that is considered one vendor??? What photographers are all you Azul brides going with?
