Hi Cherina, You're right. I think I was getting Moon Dance Villas confused with Moon Dance Cliffs. I checked into Moon Dance and while it is absolutely amazing, the larger all-inclusives just offer a better price/ package deal for accomodations and flights which is unfortunate after looking at MDV. I'm still hoping to find a bit of information on HSH. I find it strange that you can see photos of weddings that did take place there but, haven't been able to find one bride or review with an experience.

You would be a lifesaver if you could! I love moon dance villas but the majority of our guests are beach people so I figured staying on the beach and having a cliffside wedding was the best of both worlds. Thanks for your reply! And Congrars to you!

Hello Everyone, Myself and my Fiance are looking at having a Negril wedding and I am hoping you guys can help me out with some information on Home Sweet Home. I tried to search the posted threads but, couldn't find anything directly related to a wedding at Home Sweet Home. We will be having all our guests stay at an AI on the beach and I am looking at having an offsite wedding/ reception. Has anyone had any experience with a wedding at Home Sweet Home? On there website, they show a wedding set up in the photo gallery but, I am finding it near impossible to find any reviews or actual experiences from a bride who married at HSH. Looking forward to your responses and sharing in the planning experience with everyone here!

Hello brides! I'm leaning towards having our wedding/ reception at either the Negril Escape or Tensing Pen and am calling on all of you for help! At first, I thought the destination option would be more affordable than having a wedding home however, from the quotes I'm receiving from both the Negril Escape and the Tensing Pen and the resort we are staying at (Riu Negril), it's not looking that way. I realize that this may be off colour but, I am asking any brides with experience at either of these places to either send me a PM or reply and give me an idea of what is a reasonable price per person for dinner costs, open bar, cocktail hour, decor, etc. Anything you can help with that would be great! While I have no idea how flexible these vendors are or if negotiating is even an option, I think knowing other brides experiences will at least help me to determine what is a reasonable cost to pay. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you!! I came across that review but, just wanted a little more from brides that have been there about what to expect. I noticed that both Riu's are not on the 7 mile beach. Instead , they are on a man made beach and I was wondering about the quality of this beach and good/bad experiences at either. Maybe picking a wedding destination we've never been too was a bad idea! Lol.

Hello ladies!! This is the best destination wedding site by far! I'm recently engaged (as of Christmas Eve) and have started to think about a destination wedding in Negril. I've narrowed it down to these two resorts (with a lot of help from the reviews on this site) but, am still having trouble deciding between the two of these. The price difference is relatively minor so I am wondering if any of you ladies on this site can help me with identifying any real differences between the two hotels. Is the beach better at one? Food? Accomodations? Activities? Wedding packages? Also, if you had your wedding at either resort or visited both, I would love to hear your opinion on how the resorts compare and how the resort met/ didn't meet your wedding expectations. Hoping to hear from you soon. Any help is appreciated!
