So...the day has arrived! Finally engaged...finally maybe almost decided on the destination! Leaning towards Costa Rica...we have the date we want but is it the locale we want?! We never considered it for a wedding...for exploring...yes! But the beaches? Variety of things for other people to do? Is it costly? Should people plan to spend more when they go? Looking for advice/info from BDWB about Costa Rica and the Riu...I would PM people but all the reviews I found are from people in 2007/08/09/10...nothing really recent that I could see and I don't know if those brides/now wives are still on here! I am new to this website and not really a typical bride... I would rather skip the wedding and be married already! lol Thanks ladies in advance for any help you can provide to this newbie! (PS: the other choice is Jamaica...but our date is not available...both prices are comparable.)
