Hi! anyone else hear anything about this resort lately? i`m planning my late 2012/early 2013 wedding and am really considering Riu Varadero or Paradisus Varadero. I`ve stayed at Princesa Del Mar and loved it but like the above poster said, unfortunately it`s adults-only. i want a newer, modern resort and i`ve stayed at a few RIU hotels in mexico and loved it as well. hopêfully the new RIU varadero lives up to the the RIU name! anyone know anything about the wedding gazebo here? i haven`t seen any pics of it...

Hi! sorry to butt in but I am from Edmonton as well! I'm deciding between Paradisus Varadero and Iberostar Laguna Azul. I've never been to Paradisus Varadero but I have stayed at Paradisus Princesa Del Mar in Varadero and LOVED it. fell in love with the Paradisus chain. Do you know if Paradisus Varadero is adults only or did they change that? i've heard so many things. I would choose Princesa Del Mar in a heartbeat but I know that one is adults only still. I look forward to hearing/reading more in this thread! Lily
