It's a Val Stefani D7994- I paid $1850.00 for the dress and then had them customize it by dipping down the back of the dress. Final cost for the dress was $2225.00. I am willing to sell it for a lot less than what I paid. I ordered a size 8 but had it taken in quite a bit. I would say it would be best for a size 6 or smaller. I am 5'9 and did not wear tall shoes with my dress  

Thank you so much!!!!!! That was so sweet of you! Yes, we had everything planned out to be married at the Gazebo until we got there and saw it. I should've listened to other Brides...they were not lying when they said the aisle is extremely short. We had 70 guests and there was just no way that with a Bridal party of 15 and all our guests we would fit comfortably. We met with our Wedding Planner and the only other option was the Beach which I wasn't having. We held a meeting with her and the Wedding Planner I flew down with us to go over everything. I showed her this spot (which was right outside the Lobby) They didn't think they would be able to accommodate this request but with some push from my WC they were able to get a hold of someone higher up in Management and approve it. They told us it would be a one time exception but maybe after getting some of our photos they will start advertising it???

The Gazebo is a great spot IF you don't have more than 40 guests...I can't imagine putting anymore than that on the grass.

So exciting! Mine just came in! I am going to try it on next Saturday after my make up trial! I am so nervous! I hope it's exactly what I remember! haha I only tried the sample on once! You look beautiful!!!!

I am getting married on October 27th. I will be bringing 65 brand new charger plates with me. The color is called champagne (light gold). If there are any Brides getting married after my wedding that would like to purchase them for $70 I will be happy to leave them in a box with Magda They cost $5 a piece to rent down there and I paid $2 to purchase + the cost to bring them down to Cabo.

To the previous Brides of Dreams.....

I've been talking in PM with some of the Brides getting married this year and we've all been wondering the same thing along the lines of making it memorable and what will stand out. It seems all of you agree when you say the night goes by so fast! Can you give us your input on what you would recommend doing vs. not wasting time on? Any advice on how to make the evening flow where it doesn't seemed rushed?

Also, what size room did you and all your Bridesmaids get ready in? My mom currently has a 1 Bedroom Suite and we are using her room to get ready in...she is now worried it will be crammed in there with 7 Bridesmaids. It is quite a bit more to get a 2 bedroom but she is willing to do this if it will be too tight the day of.

Hey Monica!!!! I'm getting married at Dreams on October 27th!!!! I would love to talk more in a PM but we were working with Florenta and then switched over to Marco at Emporio Florist! He is awesome to work with so far and was able to work with my budget I would compare pricing as he met all the quotes Florenta provided me with

I'm so glad I found this! Magda is my Coordinator for my October wedding!!!!!! 

I have been so bad about coming on here lately and was so excited to see all the responses! It looks like a few of you are getting married right after us I have been using a Wedding Planner out of San Diego and she has been extremely helpful with coordinating everything! So far I have booked the following Vendors;

Photographer- we are flying our Photographer down with us

Flowers- Emporio, we were originally working with Florenta and the Magda from Dreams recommended Marco from Emporio. He has been extremely helpful thus far. I am most nervous about how my flowers are going to turn out since they are so different then traditional roses, ect

DJ- We booked DJ Ricardo and he has been AWESOME to work with! Quick responses too!

Invitations- OK LADIES...if you want Passport invites you MUST use Allurements by Rebecca!!!! She was AMAZING to work with! We just sent our invites out on Monday and our guest have been calling like crazy to tell us how awesome they are! Her pricing is very reasonable!!!!!!

We now need to start looking for a videographer but don't want to spend a huge portion of the budget on this!!!!!!

Tammy- quick question for you When Dreams has a promotion where you get a room for free...is this just the room or do they include the food/beverage package for the guest as well? What is the extra cost if food/beverage are not covered?

The most exciting day of my life was getting engaged!!!!! Now it's time to plane the next most exciting day of my life! I am feeling extremely overwhelmed! I have reserved the resort but haven't settled any of the details yet! We are planning on around 70-90 guest and will be holding our ceremony at the gazebo followed by the reception at the smaller private pool! Any and all advice would be excellent! I can't figure out how to post a thread on the main page so I'm hoping to get some responses here It also seems that the only post I can find are from years ago? The theme I am going for is tropical colors OK girls....I'm counting on you!!!!! Websites, suggestions, anything......
