Swojdyla- Thanks for checking out our wedsite, it was a labor of love for sure. To answer your questions, yes we did get married in June of this year. We had a very small ceremony legalizing our marriage, so when we go to Punta Cana in April it is considered a renewal of vows. Our pastor at our small wedding did a very simple ceremony, we did not exchange our own vows that we wrote, we just recited the vows back to her. We also did not do communion or a sand pouring ceremony. Our pastor is coming with us to Punta Cana and will perform the ceremony as if it was the first time- and we will get to do our own vows that we will write, along with communion and our sand pouring ceremony. This makes life a little easier for us because we don't have to worry about the legal requirements in the DR.
We have invited like 85-90 people but are looking for about 40 to be in attendance. So far we have 12 booked including us two. I am super excited you will be there to see our wedding. We requested a private reception with a DJ, but my husband now wants the live band- so I have to email the coordinators and see if that is possible. I haven't yet joined the FB page but will do so today. i am super excited about this wedding. cant wait to chat with you more.
