Coconoir1908 thank you for this post!  My TA and I have been pulling out our hair over the information I have found on this site compared to what Janina tells us.  This should help us get our locations secured!

In either case, Lizzie is quick but give her a few days. She will answer your questions in detail.  I think that she is a much needed person in the midst of planning and many things that us 2012 brides deemed negative with changes from2011 to us, she is a positive. 

 

Keep pressing.  We have our locations so I can relax!  There are way tooooo many brides booked on our date for me to have waited. 

 

Mrsbruff2b, I hope you have better luck with Janina then my TA and I have had.  Read over every bit of the contract, we caught her on MULTIPLE mistakes including the wrong wedding date!

Update on our Wedding:

It took us 3 weeks to get conformation with the priest and that has been our only hold up.  So if anyone out there is waiting for conformation on the priest and they tell you it will take 48 hours - DON'T BELIEVE THEM!

It did take us 48 hours to hear back from the justice of the priest that we will also be having. 

I'm not sure that other brides had this problem but from the first time we contacted them until today it has been 3 months to get our wedding confirmed with Palace resorts. 

I hope no one else has to go through this mess. 

I have to say you ladies look amazing!  Congrats on finding that perfect dress!

Can send one let me know what the song list that they provide is?

I have it saved on my jimmy johns accounts as "yummy"

So I've been doing a mix of 1 and 1 as well as 5 and 5.  I've tried to challenge myself with the 5 and 5 but with the summer months and going out with friends I end up doing more 1 and 1 just so I don't look odd out in public only eating meat. 

What I've learned about this week is that this week i'm getting full a lot faster then what I've been use to.  Normally I can eat a jimmy johns sub and want chips and the pop but today I had to force myself to fnish my unwhich (no fridge to keep it cold).  It took a good 40 minutes for me to eat my standwhich and I got a pickle and havn't touched it. 

that will be my afternoon snack.

well I hope the protein "attack phase" is going well for you this week.  I think you have the potential to be "healthy" in vegas.  Just more lean meats and veggies!  Watch those margaritias!!!

It's been hard to stay motivated especially without looking at a scale every day, but to see the end results.  I bought some new "fat pants" and they are sliding off!! 

That's a nice motiviation.  19 down only 16 more to go!!!

P.S. I'm super jealous you are heading to Vegas next week!!!

I thought I would share the update on our wedding date . . .

So our July 28th wedding that is "available" on the palace wedding page is "not availble" when I go to do the online request.

Call the Miami office they tell us there will be NO weddings that date.  Too bad our wedding contract says July 28, 2012 6pm!

Since they did not sign the copy after I signed it they will NOT VALIDATE this!

So after HOURS (4 in total) of being on the phone (one line with my TA and the other with either Melissa or Jennifer) (seriously at one point I had 2 phones up to my head . . . we had to change our date. 

So it's now July 21, 2012.  I'm going to have to update the caldendar with my date now!

The only way we got anything to happen was call th3 1-877 # and hit prompt #2 and got a live person on the phone.  I was insistent that NO one called me back. 

I don't mean to scare anyone but after 5 weeks of getting NO WHERE it was time for drastic measures.

That was my experience, still awaiting the confirmation from the Judge and the Priest before it's made official!
