  1. I am selling my dress... It's a size 10 without sizing alterations. I did however have a swarovski crystal belt attached & had the back cut lower into a V shape. The retail cost of the dress was $2980 and the belt was an additional $360. It has been professionally cleaned and is ready for another bride to love! please feel free to email me with any questions

  2. I am getting married on the beach in South FL and my florist is doing a bamboo arch for us... she is very reasonable and it located about 10 minutes from Ft. Lauderdale. The cost for the arch and 2 floral arrangements for the arch is only $250 - $300 i think. Her name is Blanca #954- 972-1993

    Hope this helps!

  3. The picture was from our engagement session... I added took out OFF DUTY & the wording using photoshop. Below is the original pic & the completed envelopes with liners! i think the liners & envelope seals are a nice added touch :) I had magnets made by vistaprint & the quality was better than expected... I sent them out last week & have had lots of compliments!

  4. I don't think you needed to include her on the invite... my FI and I are not including either of our parents on the invites since we are paying for the wedding ourselves. My mother is hosting the rehearsal dinner so separate invites will be sent for that and they will say The Mother of the Bride Jane Doe would appreciate your presence at a rehearsal dinner so on & so forth. It's your day... don't let petty family nonsense (ALL of us have some) get you down :) Good Luck

  5. I might be able to give you some suggestions... I was born & raised in South Florida so I am pretty familiar with the area. What are your thoughts on this? Are you looking for a nice dinner spot, nightlife, a dinner cruise or an activity of some sort?

  6. ANOTHER IDEA:

We are going to give our guests Sharpie Markers so they can write a well wish for us as we begin our life together and then we will send all of our wishes off into the sky. We have also tried writing on them and it works fine... just advise guests not to write too hard, if the paper tears the lantern won't float

  7. HELPFUL TIP: I ordered some lanterns off ebay from China... they were hard to light and seemed like fire hazards... my fiance was certain we were going to cause a major fire! After a few test runs in Florida & a couple failed attempts due to wind we decided to look into flame resistant and bio-degradable lanterns instead. I purchased a couple from www.skylanterns.com and they were MUCH BETTER all the way around. The fuel cell lit easier (even in the wind) and we weren't afraid as they took off that the paper would catch on fire and become a falling fireball that would land on someones home!!! The biggest bonus here is that they are 100% biodegradable... at first this wasn't a major concern for me but we are releasing them over the ocean and I wouldn't want to have the marine life tangled in the wire. We have decided to spend the extra few dollars for the peace of mind that come from the many safety features these lanterns offer. Hope this helps out!!! We are VERY EXCITED to do this as a finale to our wedding night and we are trying our best to keep it a big secret :)

  8. I just spent $6500 on my photographer and I think my FI needs CPR!!! The package we chose includes 8 hours of coverage, a coffeetable album, parents album etc. So I guess we get more than just the photographer showing up... We did have to negotiate for the RIGHTS to the pics!!! I had no idea they would be so $$$ but after researching several photogs & driving myself crazy... we went with our first choice... Hopefully our pics are as beautiful as his are on the website!
