  1. Hi- Ok, some answers to your questions: Sashes- we ordered them from weddinglinensdirect.com- very affordable and I thought they looked really nice. Kissing Balls- we actually ordered off of ebay. They are still listed at: http://cgi.ebay.com/10X-White-Silk-Flowers-Kissing-Ball-Wedding-Decorations-/180527896962?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a084d1982 There are different colors to choose from. Also, we bought some ribbons from a craft store to spruce them up a bit. Unfortunately, we were one short on each side but I didn't notice until I saw the pictures! Vases- The vases are not that big. The largest is 4" by 12" and the other two are smaller versions of the same vase. We put candles in the small ones and actually put the bridesmaids bouquets in the 4 X 12 vases. I think that's all the questions for now:) Good Luck! Carrie
  2. Hi ladies- It has been awhile since I have posted on here and one of these days I am going to post more pics and a full review (I got married April 4th). In the meantime, I saw the question on the reception. Yes, it is extra if you want to have one. However, I did a reception lunch the day before at the seaside grill (and it was free). I told Yanna and she had them make arrangements (we had to be there right at noon). The service was great and we had the entire room to ourselves. I had wanted to have a dinner, but I actually got word that some of my quests who were on a short trip wanted to try the restaurants at night, so it worked out. One other thing I wanted to note for you ladies. We brought about 30 different sized vases (3 sizes X 10 vases) with us to the DR. Because it was such a hassle to transport, we told Yanna that they could keep them at the resort for future weddings. We also left the sashes (shown in the attached pictures) as well. That's all for now... we had the best time and couldn't have been happier. Once I get some more time I will write a full review.
  3. Thank you for all the great ideas with the flowers. I think the real touch flowers are a great idea and you are right, I am sure they wilt pretty quickly! I'll get working on them ASAP. I agree Dana! So much too do so little time....good luck! Carrie
  4. Hi Ladies- I stumbled accross this site a few days ago and it was the best thing that happened. I am getting married at DLR on April 4th! To complicate it all, I suffered an injury and will be on crutches! We have 60+ people booked, so unfortunately the show must go on. I am so glad to hear your responses and wished I had found this months ago! I am still waiting to hear back from Tiara on my list of items, but I was wondering if anyone could answer me on this: - If you purchase the flowers from the resort, are the bridesmaid's bouquets really $75 each?? It seems like a simple detail, but I have 6 bridesmaids and it could add up! Thanks again for all the info. Carrie
