Miss Q

Hair and make-up was definately my biggest worry. Not so much the make-up, as I had plenty of time to re-do if needed. had my friend on stand by for hair, just in case. But Maria (Mary) did amazing. Before I left, I did a trial with my hair-stylist, and we took pictures of every step to take with me. It helped. It wasn't exactly how it was in the pictures, but I almost liked it better. She did a trial with the make-up also. I did have to stop her from using the lip-gloss and mascara wand out of the tub - I just did those with my own at the room. But everyone who sees the pictures, comments on the hair and make-up. It was tough for me because it was so much more dramatic than I ever do, I'm pretty simple. But in pictures, it was amazing. She colored in my eyebrows, which I've never done, but it made a difference in the pics.

We were barefoot! and it was not problem. We wore our shoes right up to the entrance by the greenery. There is a rock path, so we walked on the grass around the rock to the sand. The day we got there we went to look at it and there was grass growing amounst the sand. We asked Jenny if they would rake it, and she said "of course, my pleasure!" as they did with everything.

I LOVED the beach gazebo! It was so private. I do wish you could have seen the ocean directly behind. But, it was so amazing to hear the waves crashing throughout the ceremony. I will never forget hearing that sound. During my stay there were several weddings at the garden gazebo, which is right in the middle of everything. We even watched one from the preferred pool. I also loved how the beach gazebo has greenery all around, so I could walk up behind everybody and wait, not being seen unitl I walked 'down the isle'.

I could not agree with you more!! We were there July 10th-21 with our wedding on July 16th. It was absolutely perfect! I'm going to work on a full review, but just had to agree! We also worked with Apple, and those ladies are AMAZING! They will do anything for you! On the last night, Kenya even found out that I wasn't feeling too great, and I didn't eat my dinner. So she called me to see what she could get me and called room service to have tea and crackers sent up. And Walquiria sat with me for at least 30 minutes trying to get all my guests in rooms in buildings 4 and 5, so that we were all close. They are just great! And I'll put it in my review...but ladies, I can't stress enough, if there is something you want, or something that isn't right, just ASK, and everyone will bend over backwards to fix it for immediately! Their cusomer service is beyond anything I could have dreamed of!

Hola from Dreams. First off to assure any of you worrying (like I did) - This place is amazing!! And if there is ANYTHING that is not to your liking, all you have to do is ask - they will bend over backwards to fix it! As for the vendors, as long as you know they are there, it's okay. I had been warned many times, and one almost sucked us in yesterday. But I kept looking at his gold name tag and it said Ultimate, not Dreams, so we just kept walking and said no-thanks! They are mostly in the main lobby, and a little around the main pool - restaurant area. None in the preferred at all - which is nice! Just don't stop to talk to them and keep walking. Only one has approached us and this is our fourth day here. You just have to remember if you need anything, talk to someone behind a desk, not walking around. Because they do pose themselves as an employee, asking about your stay, if you need anything, etc........ I look forward to positing a review and pictures soon. Oh, and Jenny is fantastic also!

I have not been very good at posting on this site. But I have been combing these pages for MONTHS and learned so many wonderful things from all of you. I don't know how I would be pulling this off without this wonderful site and all the ins and outs I have learned. I can't believe I leave in less than two weeks. So, yes I will be there while you are visiting the weekend of July 14th. Our wedding is on July 16th! Hello everyone, I'm so excited to have found this forum. We have a wedding planned for Dreams La Romana for next July. I've been enjying reading through all the posts and pictures. I'm learning so much, and the pictures are beautiful. I'm looking formward to learning so much more. I'd love to also hear the answers and thoughts about Dana's tipping question. I hadn't thought about that yet. And we are also working wtih Tiara, and have worried about her response time, but the day before yesterday she responded back and forth about 3 times, but then hasn't responded to my last one,so? guess it's hit-and-miss.
