I really want to do it but I need my dress for my AHR.  I'm going to get something similar and much much cheaper for TTD photos.  For those that are using a 2nd dress, are you going with something similar or totally different from the wedding dress?

By the way, we got our documents back from them and everything looks great!  It's also comforting to see official embassy stamps on all the documents.  Perhaps WE DO does everything right but I can't see them getting their documents gov't stamped.  One less thing to worry about.   

Sorry for the late reply. I must have missed this!  I went to the DR Consulate, which is located in Times Square: 1501 Broadway (commercial building).  Again, its pretty chaotic and disorganized but everyone is willing to help.  Good luck!

I used Orbitz which guarantees a refund check for the difference if tickets go down in price.  Warning: don't book a package, they won't refund differences on packages.  

How about attaching a starfish to a pocketwatch?  I'm not very crafty but I don't see how you couldn't glue one on the front.  Or how about taking a pocketwatch to a watch specialist and have them replace the face with a starfish logo face?  Or engrave a starfish with your message onto a pocketwatch?

I think there are very few people who look better in white then ivory.  But its really up to you.  I tried my dress in white and ordered the ivory.  When I finally got it, I realized it was much more yellow in hue then most ivory dresses.  I still love it and wouldn't change it.  But if I was standing next to someone wearing white, it actually looked yellow.  My FI was suppose to wear ivory too but I'm worried that his ivory will be lighter then mine so I changed his outfit to natural color.  Maybe it doesn't bother others (having someone where something whiter then your dress) but I know it would really bother me so its really up to you. Good luck!
