  1. Natalie,

I love your DIY boarding passes and letter to your guests! I just put in my down payment for my wedding so I'm looking around for STD to give my guests enough time to plan their attendance. I'll most likely be using Liberty Travel as our TA and they actually offer FREE STD from their choice of templates but I love the idea of STD boarding passes but the idea of saving money is more of a prospect for me. I may actually just use yours even if Liberty Travel's is Free and probably less of a hassle. Where did you find your boarding pass template? Thanks for your post!

  2. Maria, thanks for your thread on DIY passport invites! I didn't think they were possible to do myself but with your post I guess I can. I was close to having it made and done for me and it is fairly costly. Was the Aylee template in pink only? We want our color to be light turquoise/teal blue and I love the inclusion on information about the resort and other details about the destination rather than just information on the wedding itself. Also, how did you get the free RSVP postcards from Vista print? Was this all printed from Your home printer? And does all the MACbook Pro's come with Photoshop? Your invitations and RSVPs look professionally made and beautiful! Thanks again for such a detailed DIY post. I just put in my downpayment for a Royal Catholic Wedding at Gran Caribe in their beautiful chapel with reception at Villas Terrace for February 2012! We're also considering staying at The Royal after the wedding as a honeymoon but at Gran Caribe for the wedding and before. Best wishes on your wedding and marriage! You'll be a beautiful bride!

  3. Congrats to all the 2011 brides! I hope to be a 2012 bride. Ms. Perez emailed me right away with a response in the beginning stages of our wedding planning which includes a site visit. Does anyone else have Ana as their coordinator? I had asked her how long she's been a WC and if she had an references. I told her that my fiance and I wanted to get to know our WC since they'll be an important part of our wedding plannig. How did everyone pay for the downpayment? Since their website hasn't been updated for 2012, I was told to pay via email or phone. I'm a little weary of both so I'm curious as to how everyone else paid for it. Thanks everyone! Now that I'm set on GCR, I hope I'm not disappointed. It was very difficult to look for a Catholic chapel in an all-inclusive resort and I fell in love with GCR's chapel soon as I saw it. =]

  4. Thank you so much for posting your review on the site inspection! My fiance and I are planning to go for a site inspection Feb 2011 and plan our date to be Feb 2012. Did you know they have a site inspection program where you get credit back on your previous site inspection stay during your actual wedding time when your guests book a certain amount of rooms? Details are on the Real Wedding website. Thanks again and your review reassured me on my decision to have my wedding at Gran Caribe!

  5. Congratulations! Thank you for your review. I fell in love with Gran Caribe's chapel and am a little hesitant bc of the wedding coordinator review. Also, was your ceremony in Spanish or English by the priest? I love the carpet down the aisle. Did Gran Caribe do that for you or did you bring it yourself? Thanks again for the review! Beautiful pictures of the wedding and you!

  6. Hi, I've searched for Catholic chapels within an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean and fell in LOVE with the Our Lady of Guadalupe chapel at Gran Caribe Real in Cancun. Reviews and pictures would be greatly appreciated to help me and my fiance's decision on where to get married. Thank you. love.gif
