Your place cars sound gorgeous you will have to share pics when they come in. We are almost ready to go as well. I only have 2 more things to get done. So excited. In 2 weeks from today we will be on our plane heading to Mexico.

I am not sure I agree about the dated rooms. We wnt for a site visit and we loved the rooms we thought they were gorgeous bright clean and cheerful.

I am tying the place setting names to them with a ribbon. Depending what your colors are I could leave the ribbon behind too. The ribbon is thin and an orange color.

Ok guys. I have some tips. My wedding is there on April 6, 2012. There is a past Dreams bride that brought some tall cylinder glass vases there and I asked Claudia about them and she is not charging to use them. All I am bringing in my suitcase is fake green orchids and a flaoting candle for each centerpiece. I am also bringing 25 starfish with me. I will leave the 25 starfish with Claudia for any of you brides to use while you are there. I will also leave the green orchids behind as well. Here is what my centerpieces will look like but with GREEN orchids.
PS this is a really tall vase in the picture. The actual vase is half the size lengthwise.

Do the wedding coordinators send you the options beforehand or do you have to wait for your meeting AT Dreams a couple of days before the wedding to see what is offered and prices?
Can you tell that my wedding is getting close and I'm starting to stress out a bit?
Also, the WC has only sent me my contract so far for my May wedding. In addition to the table decoration options, do the WCs send you ANY of the option details in advance (flowers, music options) or do you have to wait til you get there to see your options and pricing?
I just want to know what to expect. I was really hoping to work through some of the details to see what will fit into my budget BEFORE we get there in case I have to compensate with some DIY.
Any insight is greatly appreciated.

She is super nice and doesnt charge vendor fee or something like that. She trsut that the cake will be done , good taste and deliver on time.
Check below one of the cakes that we made:
Everything edible!!

I went overboard. It ended up being around $50 per bag. I only had to do 12 on the plus side. Almost all of my guests were couples.

Make sure to write EVERYTHING down during your meeting with the wedding coordinator. We made the mistake of trusting her to take the notes and we didn't get any of the decorations the way we wanted it and there was no way to prove that we did not agree to what we had gotten b/c the "contract" was correct.
Overall the wedding was phenomenal! the DJ is really really good. Our party never stopped dancing and continued into desires until 3am. Claudia was very good with everything except the decorations of the gazebo. We wanted pink flowers with black ribbons on the columns, no ribbons on the chairs, the vases with pink flowers and black ribbons. What we got were no vases, pink ribbons on the chairs, and pink flowers with white drapes in the gazebo. I have no idea where those decorations came from b/c it wasn't even discussed during our meeting but there was no way for us to prove that because the contract had all of that written on it. So i came out of our meeting feeling like i was the crazy one. Of course no one knew that anything was wrong and everyone said it was beautiful which it was but it was not what i had wanted. I think if we wrote everything down and gave her our notes for the decorations everything would have been exactly as we wanted it.

We are getting married at the town hall on Monday leaving on Tuesday and getting married on Friday. They say if non legal ceremony you have to be there 2 full days and if legal 4 full days. The day of your wedding and day you flew in don't count.
