Leahseri, I feel that the disco gets a bad name on here. I got married at Sandos in June. We got married on the beach, dinner at the Brizillian Steakhouse(was nice, but very very hot) and rented out the disco. We had a total of 38 guest that traveled with us, so we only rented the disco for an hour and a half. If I could have done anything different I would have moved everything up and hour to have more time in the disco. It really was a lot of fun. They had set it up with a DJ, two bartenders, a waiter, and a security guard at the door, so that not any random person could walk in. I would highly recommend the disco to everyone. It was also very cheap for the amount of fun and service that was provided. Also, just so you know, during the wedding it seems that half of the beach swarms over to watch the wedding. I didn't notice until the end, that and half of our guest had pictures with random men in speedos in the background. It really is an amazing time, and I hope this helps you a little bit and you have as great as an experience there as I did.

My wedding is in 54 days, and I am still a little worried about getting my hair done there. Since there is no room for error, is it worth the risk of having someone try a hairstyle the day of my wedding from the resort, or have one of my friends do it? What is everyone else planning to do?

Question, has anyone heard heard from Maria in the last few weeks??? I am getting married the first weekend of June and have tried contacting her about my wedding with no response. Its starting to concern me since the last time I spoke with her was late October, and now I have more stuff to figure out about the wedding. I have tried emailing her several times about the matter and still have not anything.

Hey do you know if the 2011 wedding guide is different than the 2010???

Ladies, I am getting married down there on June 4th, has anyone brought flowers with them down there? I was planning just to ship my flowers, dress, and other wedding things down there to Maria, but was wanting to know what have others done. Is it easier just to take an extra piece of luggage with you or just to ship it down? With the price its less to take it with me, but then there is that fear, since the flowers all have metal rods in them, I would hate to get stopped in the airport and stuff get ruined. So any suggestions? Thanks.

I am planning on a wedding there next summer, and wanted to know about the upgrades. I have been here twice before so I know about the resort, but last year my fiance and I did the Select Club. On their website they say they give upgrades, so I wanted to know if you guys recieved an upgrade to the Select Club or was it not mentioned or offered??? Thanks
