Well, I guess it didn't work!  What I had said was Thanks Everyone! I was away for a few days and I sure missed a lot!! It's great to hear all of your ideas and experiences, it's so helpful!  I am also a bit worried about people overlooking the notion of RSVPing online to make our lives easier...but I guess we will see!! I don't mind hunting people down the old way if I have to! haha  I will try to post the pic of the magnet we ordered....the website isn't quite complete yet, but have a look if you want! I suppose we will be constantly adding to it anyways!  Thanks again for the love out there!!  xo Jocelyn

Thanks everyone! I was away from my computer a few days...you miss a lot in a few days! It's so nice to hear all of your ideas and experiences! So helpful! Â Here is the image of the magnet we are ordering...I am worried about people overlooking the notion of RSVPing on the website....but we'll see what happens! The most important people to us are already on board, so that's all that really matters, right? Â ps. the website is not totally ready for viewing yet, but feel free to have a look It will continue to be a work in progress I guess... Â

Hello out there! Â Getting married at the Sunset at the Palms in Negril, Jamaica on March 16, 2011...very excited, and a bit nervous, as it is just over 6 months away at this point! Â I have my dress, bridesmaids dresses...still don't have our rings or groom attire...and we STILL have yet to send out our STDs! I know, we are lazy!! Â We have been going back and forth about how to go about communicating with family and friends about the wedding, and WHO exactly to invite, as we both have HUGE families and want to keep it small. We have finally decided to send out STD magnets to basically everyone, and create a website for people to RSVP on and to keep everyone updated with information. That means we are foregoing formal invitations...I am still not sure if this is tacky...but we decided it would be a waste of money and paper to send out hundreds of invitations to extended family members who probably won't come anyways. Â I just designed the magnet...I will upload a pic later if I can....and so I have to place the order and scramble to get addresses!! EEK!! Â I am happy to be part of this destination wedding community to get and share ideas! Â Happy planning everyone :-)
