Hi Folks, Â My Fi and I are getting married at the Club Riu Negril on Feb 12, 2011. We have booked a private dinner on the beach and want a sound system for music and speeches but the resort is telling us it costs $250 per hour. The first dance is one of the most important parts for me, but paying $250 for the sound system is a bit much. The rental fee is the same cost with or without the DJ, as the DJ has to be there to supervise the equipment. I'd love any suggestions or alternatives, or even some thoughts on if the $250 per/hour is worth it. At that price we might as well us the DJ, but how do we know he will play the music we like? Â Any other info on the private beach dinner would be great too. Â Thanks in advance - this is my very first posting!
