Hello All! Can anyone tell me how they got this documentation? This is the document that states you have never been married before. I'm having some trouble figuring out how to get this form. I get married October 21st! Thanks for everyone's help!

Krys, Thanks as always for your sound advice! I appreciate you taking time from your busy schedule to help me. I emailed Sheque today and hope to hear back soon. I want to get my hair and make-up done at the same place so that's why i opted to call her instead of April's. I called Maxime yesterday and they were very helpful as well. Jessiem, Congratulations!!!! This information is VERY helpful! I actually just contacted Bay Bistro before reading this post. They are affiliated with The Kissing Fish company if I'm not mistaken. I'm waiting to get a reply back on my email. They seemed like a good choice. I will research Mango Reef! I am actually staying right across from the Grace Bay Club so I will keep the Infinity Bar in mind. You have no idea how helpful your post has just been for me. I am at the point where I'm starting to feel nervous and unprepared. I feel lost! Do you have someone for Hair and Make-up? If you could recommend anyone that would be awesome! Hi all! My fiance and I are getting married in Turks and Caicos, October 21st. It will be only 4 people there...that includes US! LOL! Can anyone recommend a wonderful restaurant in Turks that will be both fancy and fun to celebrate after wards? Or, can anyone recommend some other fun ideas? I'm shockedddd!! She charged $200 for make-up? There has to be a better price out on the island. Whew! I am going to continue and do my research but i guess i know the worst case scenario right now. I definitely am not good with make-up so this is an expense i cannot spare. Thanks for your help lm3682!

Ha! I'm a New Yorker too. Brooklyn, NY to be exact. Born and raised! I am in Charlotte, NC now. It took me a while to get used to NC, but now i appreciate it. Its a great place to raise kids. I have two young children so it works out great! Congrats again!

Congrats Michelle! I hear the Beaches Resort is amazing. I had a friend travel there a few years ago. She said the food is amazing! I'm excited too and I wish you the best on your day! I can't wait to see the beautiful Grace Bay beach in person. The pictures are simply breathtaking!

Hi Krys, I hope you are doing well today. As mentioned above, i am officially booked at Villa del Mar for my vacation in October. I am getting married in the Leeward area of Grace Bay. Woohoo! Can you tell me what resorts are closest to Villa del Mar in case our guests (if any decide to travel with us) need a more affordable option? Or, in case they want something more upscale? Good Afternoon, Can someone tell me what resorts are closest in walking distance to most of the restaurants and shops? I am looking at Windsong, Villa Del Mar, West Bay Club and Somerset. I want to be in the heart of everything so there's plenty to do and easy access. However, is West Bay Club that far? Also, what is the best value of them all. Any info you all can lend would be most helpful! I plan on booking my trip this week. Why is it so harddddd?! LOL! Thanks for all your feedback!

Hi Bronze, Congratulations on getting married! I plan to get married in Turks & Caicos in October of this year (2011). I was reffered to Pastor Coleby b/c i need an officiant. I plan to get married on the public beach area of Leeward Bay. Can you tell me how much Pastor Coleby charges? Also, do you have a toll free number or email address for him? I was referred to him by Brilliant Photography in T&C. Did he make the paperwork process easy for you? Thank you so much!

Hi Krys, I was so happy to read your note below, because I am interested in getting married on the beach,- minus the theatrics. I don't want anything, but the beach, the officiant and my fiance. It seems that something so simple is hard to find. Do you happen to have any updated info as to how a couple can achieve a very simple beach wedding. Just the two of us. I am looking at the Veranda and Somerset as Hotels to stay. A few friends or family may opt to travel for vacation and simply witness the union, but that's it. We don't need chairs, or anything elaborate, b/c we will more than likely...say "i do" then hit up a restaurant ourselves or something along those lines. Any information you can lend on how we can go about doing this would be EXTREMELY HELPFUL! I want to know if this is possible before booking my resort. We are looking to get married in October of this year. Thanks for reading and I hope to hear from you soon :-)

Thank you for the information on when to arrive. I was planning to arrive on a Thursday so thanks for that. Did you find it hard to locate an officiant to handle your wedding on the beach? I'm just asking b/c you ultimately went with a wedding package (allbeit simple). I emailed Island Harmony to ask about this, but they haven't replied yet. Thanks a lot! Hi Barefootidos, Its so happy to find someone else who's doing the same thing. I love how you put it - "an amazing vacation with a little "i do" stuck in the middle". Ha! I feel the exact same way. I am going to research the Beaches free wedding. I love the Somerset. I emailed them to ask if i could do something a lot cheaper than what they offer, but haven't heard back. I really want a free wedding. Most resorts usually offer this, but apparently Somerset does not (at least not judging from their website). I was also looking at the Veranda. I emailed them, but haven't heard back from them either. Thanks for telling me about Island Harmony as well. I am going to look them up.
