The Punta Cana resort area is very nice, but the The Westin in the Punta Cana Resort is not an all inclusive resort.  An all inclusive resort is what most couples choose to make it easy and affordable for their guests.  Since meals, beverages, alcohol, entertainment etc... are all included guests don't have to worry about a big bill when they leave.  If you're out at the pool and want a drinl just swim up to the bar and it's included, there are a variety of restaurants to choose from for meals and it's all included. There are many beautiful areas and great all inclusive resort options in Punta Cana and we have been to several of them.

Congratulations and welcome to the BDW forum!! My name is Patty and I am one the Wright Travel/BDW forum TA's.   We've been to the Bahia resorts in Punta Cana and it is a large complex with 6 properties. Only the Luxury Bahia Prinicpe resorts are located on the beach and offer the beach as a wedding location, the Grand Bahia Principe resorts are located behind these resorts.  

Their beach area is fairly large, but really crowded, the Grand Bahia Principe resorts also limit the number of reservation you can have at the a la carte restaurants, otherwise the buffet is the only option. 

There are lots of other great resorts that offer the beach location for weddings. Just let us know if you'd like info and/or group rates for any of these.

Hi Synni - A few of the popular websites that offer a free wedding website are weddingwire.com, theknot.com, and withjoy.com. You can also pay to upgrade and get more options. One of our couples is using https://www.rileygrey.com/. They're not free, but they found a coupon and said it was about $100 for the year. They felt this site offered a lot more options. Congratulation!! Our agency is top producing Palace Resorts agency. Palace is a great option for Indian weddings and they offer specific wedding packages & connections for outside vendors for Indian weddings. Our agency attended an extensive Indian training last year at Moon Palace and were just in Cancun again last week and witnessed a beautiful Indian wedding at Dreams Playa Mujeres. Good Morning! Now Larimar will section off a private are in the buffet for a group at no additional. It's a fairly large buffet area so 30 - 35 guests should be no problem at all. We have stayed at Now Larimar and were just there again a few weeks ago so please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks! TA Patty

Hello and congratulations!! Welcome to the BDW forum, you've come to the right place!! We have stayed at both resorts.  Majestic Colonial is a little larger than Dreams Palm Beach and they both have nice tropical decor. Majestic Colonial is slated to be closed August 2017 until December 2017 for renovations and Dreams Palm Beach completed renovations within the past two years.  The grounds at Majestic Colonial are really pretty, but we felt the food at Dreams Palm Beach was better.
