Hello Ladies, I posted on here a while back but kinda fell off the radar, sorry! I'm back and am really looking forward to mine and Stephen's wedding in 6 months! My plans were to get in touch with someone onsite after the new year...does anyone see an issue with that? The date and locations are already booked. The ceremony will take place on the beach at 5pm, the cocktail hr will take place in the gazebo at 6pm and the reception at 7pm. I have NO IDEA how many people are going to RSVP to the wedding (the RSVP date is February 28th, 2012 - 2 months before the actual wedding) so depending on that is when I'll determine whether or not to do a private event on the element terrace (which is what we currently have blocked for us) or something at one of the restaurants. Does anyone see a problem waiting until after the new year to get in touch with a WC at the resort? Michelle

The place was great and I can't imagine getting married anywhere else. Were really excited and so far they have been very helpful.

Hi Jenna, My name is Michelle and my fiance and I are getting married at the HR PC DR in April 2012. We visited the resort this past May and we loved it! Construction is mostly done - with the exception of some small details...which of course I noticed - but its fine and I'm sure by then it will be completed. Anyway, I had the same concerns about the photographer - the photo samples they showed me while we were down there weren't really impressive; however, I since requested the photographers website and his work looks amazing. I was considering flying in a photographer from NY but in the end...I think I'm going to stick with the photographer the resort uses. You can bring in a photographer from the US but you can not bring in another Dominican photographer. Kinda stinks but those are the rules. Michelle

My fiance and I got engaged in March and we're looking to get married in May 2012 but we're overwhelmed with choices. We would like to select an all inclusive that is relatively a short flight from NY - since this is where most of my guests will be coming from - and relatively inexpensive...not too cheap but middle of the road. I don't want people to have to spend thousands upon thousands to come to our wedding. Please make suggestions!!!! Thanks
