Everything is fine with Playacar Palace! The merge has had absolutely no affect on the resort in itself, simply the name change. As mentioned, everyone has their own opinion about food, service, restaurant, valet, pillows, views, etc... The resort is gorgeous, and I would recommend Playacar Palace or any of the Palace Resorts for destination wedding and honeymoon.
