  1. @kristen82 - we purchased them through a company that I use for work. He does all kinds of printing though. The website is www.mankocompany.com . These are the ones we ended up ordering. http://www.aakronline.com/Drinkware.asp?catId=64&prodId=24 Their minimum is also 150. I actually ordered 300 because we are having 2 at home receptions, so we wanted enough for all of the parties. So he did give us a little bit of a break for ordering so many. Before we thought of using him, I was going to order from www.customink.com . They had cheap mugs too. These are the ones I was looking at and they had a minimum of 100. http://www.customink.com/styles/14-oz-plastic-beverage-mug-/165400 Hope this helps!
  2. @Kristen82 - I forgot to mention that our alcohol package does include mixed drinks and wine! I just re-read what I posted and it sounds like we are having a beer only reception! LOL. That's not the case. I just meant they will not do glass bottles.
  3. @Kristen82 - that's great! We are using Sunset Watersports. So far we've just added the extra hour, the package offered came with 3 hours. We are also bringing in our own tables & chairs, which was advised by our coordinator. She told us the tables and chairs they have on board are not very sturdy and the tables don't line up properly. Since we are having 70 people, we are not doing a sit down. I don't know the setup of the Fury, but the Partycat is a double decker, which has an enclosed and air conditioned room downstairs and the top floor is open. We are using the downstairs for dinner and the upstairs for dancing. We are just going to do a casual buffet, and people can eat when they are hungry. If we did a sit down, the room would be very tight. I'm okay with this set up since the whole feel of our reception is relaxed and casual. We are getting a cake. We are using Amazing Cakes & Creations. They are a newer bakery and they had the best pricing. Our coordinator highly recommended them. We are doing a 3 tier square cake. The picture I gave them was a 4 tier, but they said they wouldn't recommend a 4 tier for a boat! Also, I don't know what your package is for alcohol, but ours only offers keg beer. So for our favors, we ordered 16 oz plastic beer mugs and designed a logo for the front & back which included our names, wedding date and beach chairs. Otherwise, our guests would have been drinking out of plastic Solo cups. Not that the mugs are classier or anything! Just more fun! Let me know if you have any other questions!
  4. Congrats! Everything looked so beautiful! If you can remember, do you know the stairwell number that you got married at? I want palm trees for our pictures too!
  5. No problem! If you want to see pictures or anything, I have a few. Just shoot me your email and I will email you a couple of the place. It was pretty nice.
  6. Hi! I am getting married in Key West on June 4th. We are having our reception on the Sunset Watersports Partycat. We wanted something casual, fun and different. So far they've been great to work with. Our second choice was the Rum Barrel. They have an open-air rooftop that they book private parties for. We actually went to a wedding there 2 years ago, and it was a great place. I talked to Kathy and she was really helpful. Hopefully this helps! Megan
  7. Hi Everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Megan and my fiance's name is Sean. We currently live in a Philadelphia suburb and we are having our destination wedding in Key West, Florida. We are getting married 06.04.2011. So far we have our reception booked and it will be a sunset cruise on a catamaran! That's as far as I have gotten! Well thanks for having me and I am excited to be here!
  8. Hi there, I did the drive from Miami to Key West with my FI last year. While it was beautiful, it was long. It's one lane for a good part of the drive and the speed limit fluctuates between 35 and 50 the whole way. There were also times where we were stuck in traffic. It took us about 4 hours to complete the drive. We also did it during rush hour, so bad timing on our part. Try to avoid rush hour if you plan to drive or it can become frustrating!
