They are used but in great condition, just need a little ironing. 2 of the packages of 10 (one in fuchsia & one in orange) are unopened, brand new. I used 1 pink and 1 orange on every chair for my wedding and it looked great, especially against the pale beach colors.

I also have a set of 27 seashell placecard/name card holders. The original box sold in stores include 20 but I have an extra 7 from another set. Selling for $10, shipping not included.

Miss M... congratulations and great review, it was very helpful! Im getting married june 9, 2011 at dreams and i have a question about the DJ. How did you find him? my WC is also Mariana and she told me she would have the DJ contact me soon and that hes from a company called AVISPL. ive read alot of reviews who used the same dj as you and loved him and i was wondering if he was from that company or you just chose to find your own dj from the reviews on here. if you did just find him on your own was that a problem with dreams? like did you have to pay a fee for bringing your own vendor for the dj? im just worried about getting a good dj bc music is a huge concern for us. thanks!!

we are arriving on a sunday, the 5th and the wedding is on the 9th.... but we are having a symbolic ceremony... and i think the amount of days you have to be there ahead of time differs. i think its 2 or 3 days prior for a symbolic but for a legal ceremony its a little more. where and when are u getting married?

We are going from the 5-17th...we are arriving in mexico 4 days before our wedding, the wedding is on a thursday and we are staying until the following friday. We chose to do it this way bc I just got back from my cousins wedding in aruba and they were there for a week and everyone wanted to hang out with them and do activities almost every day. they hardly had any alone time. We figure we can be there the first week and make time for everyone to all get together and hang out/party together, then we told everyone from sunday-fri we are on our honeymoon ... we dont care who is still there but just dont bother us!! Everybody understands and we are starting to find out most people are staying from sun-sat of our first week so it works out perfectly!

I thought the quality was really good.. i was worried that they would look cheap but i really liked the way they came out. Maybe your pic came out grainy because the resolution wasnt high enough? they said they recommend 300dpi so i made sure the whole thing was.

thats really weird... every time i contacted him he emailed me back very quickly.... its kinda hard to give you prices bc he has packages and we just customized a package according to what we were looking for. what email do u have for him?

And just an FYI- I don't know what you're using for envelopes but I JUST received envelopes I ordered from paperandmore.com and they are beautiful! They have great, high quality stuff and since my STD's are smaller (i'm doing luggage tags) I got 250 envelopes (beautiful, shimmery I might add) for about $63. WELL worth it!!!

I actually got envelopes from vista print too... we got plain white ones with our return address printed on them, for the std we got the large magnet, the whole order was about $75 - for 70 magnets, envelopes & shipping included. Thanks tho! Ill keep paperandmore.com in mind for when it comes time for invitations
 

Our std magnets are done! We saw this basic design on another std magnet website and loved it, since im a graphic designer I just made it myself, changed some things around and ordered through vista print and saved $100! I love how they came out!

Im getting married at dreams los cabos... we are bringing an outside photographer and there is no fee as long as we book him a room there. they are also all inclusive. hope this helps

Congrats on your engagement! i was so overwhelmed when i first started too.. theres so many options and so many things to consider. The hardest part is picking a location. What i would suggest is pick a date and research the weather for best weather during that month. then start researching resorts for that destination... this forum helped so much with my choice of resorts bc of all the great reviews on here. after you choose a resort and book your date it gets easier and the fun stuff starts! good luck!

for anyone who got the large magnets from vistaprint, how is the quality? and what envelopes do they fit into? do they sell envelopes that size there? we want to upload our own design but im not sure how to go about getting envelopes that fit them, help!!

ahhhhhhhh i feel so much better now. we're not doing them either and i felt guilty about it but it is too much trouble for something that people really dont need and dont expect. i have heard from other brides who have done them and now looking back, wished that hadnt bc its an added expense, another worry trying to get them to everyones rooms and people didnt use half the stuff in them.

This was so helpful! really trying to keep our budget down by doing alot of things ourselves. thanks everyone!!

Im goin to ask my WC about beach access... im ok with it as long as we can at least spend time on the beach, maybe just walk in the water and get a little wet.. im not much of a swimmer anyway but we definitely want beach access. we were looking at the hilton too because it was one of the resorts that has a swimmable beach but we were looking for a AI.
