Fer Juaristi ~ The rockstar photographer strikes again!

Recommended Posts

We had the pleasure of having Fer photograph our wedding on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Dreams Puerto Vallarta. I canâ€t remember exactly where I first found out about Fer – whether it was just by Googling or through BDW. But, once we found his website & blog we knew we had to have him! His style is so right up our alley. Then when we started communicating by email, his wonderful personality emerged and we were so super excited to have found him.

When we finally got to meet Fer, the day before the wedding, we knew we had made the right choice. It felt like we were meeting up with a friend. Ferâ€s work speaks for itself; he is beyond talented and rockstar doesnâ€t even begin to describe his abilities! And his enthusiasm & passion about life and his art are contagious. Fer is one of the most genuine & kind people Iâ€ve had the pleasure of meeting and he immediately became part of our family. One of our friends even made up a dance called “The Fer†in honor of him. We are seriously trying to come up with a time we can see him again!

The morning after the wedding, Fer had already put together a slideshow of over 250 pictures set to music for us to show everyone. I donâ€t know when he sleeps!

We also were able to go into downtown PV with Fer for our TTD on Sunday. We started out near Guadalupe Square and ended up back at Dreams in the ocean. It was so much fun exploring & playing around town and, of course, trashing the dress!! At the end of the shoot, I was standing on a rock at the edge of the ocean & a huge wave hit, soaking both me & Fer. In true Fer form, he got the shot despite getting soaked.

We had a wonderful wedding and part of what made it perfect was that we know Fer captured everything so beautifully. Hiring him was the best decision we made and we could not be happier!

Gotcha!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
