Our first dance song was Alicia Keys - Butterflies. He let me choose the song and that one always made me think of him.

Hammy...I heard that you were looking for me. I'm sorry you missed mine and I missed yours. But I think I saw you taking pictures on the balcony. My room was directly across. If that was you...you looked BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Can't wait to see your pictures.

I just got home today so i'm still trying to get settled in. I'll post my review in the next week when I'm not so tired. The wedding was great for us!!!! The hotel's photog did a great job! I decided to order a dress from LandyBridal. Originally, I was going for a Rosa Clara but I found out I was pregnant so that mermaid fitting gown was not going to work for me. I changed to a different dress on the site, not sure who it's by but it was different fit. Now the thing is I pretty much waited til the LAST SECOND!!! I ordered the dress mid January which means they weren't going to be able to ship it until February 9 (exactly 6 days before I leave for my DW!!!) So the only thing I could do is pray and hope it makes it here on time.

Guess what??? Not only did it come on time (February 14...THE DAY BEFORE I LEAVE) but it actually fits and it's alot better than what I thought it was going to be. It is a tad big but hey...considering i'm 5 months pregnant I rather a bigger dress than a smaller dress.

Buying this dress saved me HUNDREDS!!! Sure their are risks in buying a dress online but everything is a risk!! You buy a dress from a boutique then it closes down and you lost your deposit and dress. I say if it's not that serious on how perfect the fabric is or a couple of stitching that's off then save some money and get a knockoff. No one is going to notice those little flaws anyway,

OMG!! I leave for my wedding in 2 days. The time has gone by so fast. In the beginning I had so many ideas for decorations, gifts, etc... but because people and other things have been stressing me out so much I've cut everything. I'm getting just the Divine Package with no extra anything!!! I didn't buy any additional decorations or chair bows like i originally wanted. Nobody is getting any OOT bags. I'm not having a wedding party except for my 7 yr old son. I wish I would have decided on that from the beginning it would have saved me so much time and headaches. I'm finishing up packing right now and doing my music...late..I know. lol I'm so excited to go now!!!! I'll be there from Feb 15-25 and the wedding is on Feb 19, ceremony at the Fountain, cocktail hour and reception at Pure Restaurant. So I guess I will speak to you ladies when I get back!!!!

I know that's right!!! I already have quite a few people who I know I don't have to worry about anymore. I'll end up saving alot of money from now on.

1. FI's father & stepmother - Can't go because they have to put shocks/struts on their car, can't get the time off of work (the wedding is on a Fri - she is a realtor and he is school social worker), need a trailor to get them ready for a move in June (the wedding is in Apr), there are some more, but this post could get long lol!
2. My Aunt - just had to spend $1200 to get her car fixed. She has a Mercedes, her oldest daughter is 21 (not in college) & she has a beautiful home. Did I mention she took her daughter to Miami less than a yr ago for her 21st bday?!
3. BM (Possibly) - BM's wife has just stopped returning my calls / texts. I know her phone still works because she sent me a text like 2 weeks ago to meet her at a bar for drinks! BM told my FI he may have to work now!

 

Bright Side - A lot less Xmas gifts to buy and less parties/gatherings to suffer thru next year!

I am going to be there from Feb 15-25. You'll probably be gone by the time I get there. Good luck and i'm sure your wedding will be amazing!!!

I have about 10 people back out for this reason. I didn't plan on that many people going from the beginning but for that many to back out has thoroughly pissed me off. I tried to keep it at the 25 limit but i guess that was a waste cause it's about 15 people now.

Since the photog is included in the Divine package he wasn't going to charge extra because i wasn't going to use him on the day of. I was just going to have him do the TTD session and use a different photog on the day of the wedding.

Did you get quotes from the photographer on how much he charges for the TTD session?

 

I am going with the Divine package and that was my plan. She gave me the photog's info and when I asked him he said it was no problem.

They look great! And I agree about them ending up costing more. And more stress.I started to do my own boarding pass STD and they were too much of a hassle. Ink ran out, Wrong paper. Wrong tools. So I just ordered some simple ones from vistaprint. So i'm having my invites done by Sarah with the boarding pass rsvp
