I would ask her again and see what response she tells you. Beautiful dress...it looks really fun! I thought that I had read that this was the case, but I'm also waiting to hear about the rules from Ana. I will let you know if I hear back!

I like both color combos! I think either would really pop on the beach.

I'll probably put a picture of it on BDW in the future when I try it on again looking half decent lol.. but here is the link to it! It's the diamond white color though so more of an Ivory rather than the white dress that is in the picture and looks 100 times better in person - I'm in love. https://www.alfredangelo.com/Collect...spx?style=2082 Kymkymkym: Beautiful Dress!

I have my colors and bridesmaid dresses picked out, and also have sent out the invites (wanted to give people plenty of time to plan). How long does it typically take Ana to reply? I feel like I've been waiting forever for her to respond! Also, does anyone know if we are allowed to use fake flowers for the bridesmaid boquets?

You can check out her site and she is on Facebook for all the different designs - as they are all hand painted you can pretty much get whatever. I have already spoken to Mishka and what I love is they also deliver these to your hotel, depends on where but I believe DRC was USD 40 delivery charge Thanks for all of the great info!

  8. t1219: I also booked our wedding for 11:00AM because it was the only time left. On the upside, it will be nice to be able to enjoy the rest of the day as a married couple And it will be nice for your guests because they can enjoy the rest of the day after your wedding festivities. I'm also debating about reception. What type are you having? I'm hoping to simply have us all eat together, have drinks, cake, etc. instead of having a fancy, formal reception. What are you thinking about for a time? One thing I want to make sure of is that we have enough time to take pictures and freshen up before the reception. At my friend's wedding, we were very rushed because it was a 4PM wedding and our dinner arrangements were around 6PM. And I felt very dirty after all of the pictures on the beach and would have liked more time in between. So taking that into consideration, I'm leaning toward a late lunch reception around 2:00. Hopefully this helps! You'll have to let me know what you decide!

I could probably drink this myself (LOL) so I figure this is cool for us. However, my first choice would have been the pool deck at night. For me since I only have 12 total guests (2 kids along with the 10 adults) it was a bit too pricey due to the set up. When you have more people it is far more economical... I would look into this... Just e-mail Ana once you know how many people and she can give you a quote. Thanks for the info! I had seen pictures of the wine cellar and it looks really nice! Do you happen to have Ana's email address? I've been waiting to get it from my TA, but he is being really slow about it!
  10. I know, I'm hoping that there is an option to just eat together instead of having a formal dinner. My friend just got married at another resort and they simply set aside a section of a restaurant for her with her cake everything preset. I'm hoping for something like that...
  11. I'm sure that you can book either way. I just went through a TA b/c I was booking my trip for me and offered to check for me. Good luck with finding a date! If you're flexible, I'm sure you won't have any troubles!
  12. Hi Everyone! I'm planning a smaller wedding (around 20 guests). I'm hoping to just go with the free Paradise package and then add on extras. Does anyone have any information about reception options for this? I'm wondering if it is possible just to have a dinner together in one of the restaurants instead of paying to have a full reception. Does anyone have any information/advice? Thanks for your help!

Hopefully this helps to give you some idea...

  15. Hello! I have just booked our wedding for November 5, 2010 at DRC. I'm just beginning the wedding planning process and obviously have many questions. But mostly I am wondering...does anyone have information on wedding ceremony locations at the resort? Pictures would be extra helpful!
